Judging from the pictures it looks like it landed on RWY27 near Terminal E then taxied westward to the opposite end of the airport to Terminal A. Roughly 2 or 3 miles. VERY smooth touchdown. 👍

The value of flying between Dallas and Houston vs driving is not that it saves a ton of time. It’s that flying this route has an exponentially lower chance of death than driving it. And I mean like even lower than usual! After driving in both of these cities, I’m convinced attempted murder is now legal in the state of Texas. Signed, -A guy with a lifetime fear of flying

Well you know, flying in an airliner from Dallas to Houston has basically a zero chance of death. Driving in between the two cities isn't horrible, but it's not safe by any means. But driving IN either of those cities, you really are putting your life on the line. It's best to drive in those cities very early on a Sunday morning, AFTER the drunks have passed out, but BEFORE the lunatics are awake. It's a very small window actually, maybe between 7am and 9am, or possibly from 7:30am to 8:30am would be best, Sunday only. Still not a guaranty you'll live through it, but the odds are better at least.
