American Airlines Embraer 145 - Springfield MO to ORD | Better Than You Think!

In this video I'm flying my First E145 (Embraer 145) (ERJ-145) on American Airlines! I thought this plane would be super cramped and too small for me as I'm 6'1'.

Thank goodness the 145's are being retired out of the fleet. I absolutely refuse to fly on them. I fly out of SGF regularly and usually go through DFW or CLT, occasionally to ORD but only on the 700 or bigger, because I fly 1st class.

Some gate agents refer to this aircraft as "The Mosquito" LOL! I've been on a few flights with it, curious what's currently the longest route on it, though. I know personally I've flown it on American Eagle as well, OMA-ORD and JFK-CVG. - Red

The mosquito lol nice! Never heard that before. I personally don't know the longest route they fly these..I thought some aspects of this plane was nicer and better in some regards then like newer AA planes. A lot are so cramped with bad seats and cramped leg room. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi, and welcome to the channel! Most, if not all of the arm, rest will go up. There's a small button underneath the arms in the back. The armrests will have to be down for takeoff, though. Thanks for watching!

The 145 is a tiny plane and it’s pretty uncomfortable especially if you are flying on the double side. Always have to gate check your carry on bags which kind of sucks if they don’t give them right back after you land at the gate.

Hi there and welcome to the channel! Yep your right about gate checking your bags. We checked our bags through to our final destination though. I can't imagine flying this play for more than 3 hours. I’ve flown this plane from RIC-ORD. Which is nearly a 3 hour flight. The plane can only seat 50 passengers. It’s like a bus that flies. Meaning the same size
