AA needs a little help, although, maybe on widebody aircraft, could be a little better. I knew you had the older 738 on the return flight, just from the nose cone in your photo before boarding. Great video. I had been flown AA B738 three times. Nothing special coz there no seatback TV. So, the foods look yummy and dessert not. Hard landing like my past flight MXP-MIA in 2014. Nice hotel. You did save room for meals on planes than eat in airport lol

Neat to see you fly a different airline rather than the usual United. Bet it's hard for you to choose now what airline you prefer. I can tell it was your business that got you to fly American Airlines. Hope one day they put you on JetBlue. Hate those hard landings. Glad it was soft on your way back. Maybe on the way out the pilots were in a hurry. Hope that doesn't happen to me when I first fly JetBlue.

Interesting. I thought most people would want to skip through it. But yes, I can do a normal speed take off. IF you want to see lots more normal speed take offs, they are mainly on instagram now, not youtube. Thanks.

Lucky you on that first flight! I had blew some miles on them this summer (ones that I shouldn't have had) and got that ORD-SEA. SEA-ORD-BOS-ORD was in the older style. The screen kept crashing for me, I couldn't watch an entire movie. Old AA livery can often mean newish plane. It did for me!

THanks, Loris. I already have 125,000 miles with United this year, so there is no point in building up any further miles with UA. Thus, trying to see how AA and BA are. I would say that AA's new product is better than UA's new product, but UA's old product is better than AA's old product because at least UA's is free for now. The seats are identical, but the food is slightly better on AA, I think. Hope all is well. What will you be doing in San Diego for 6 months?

Nice report! They seem to have a very inconsistent product. The flight back didn't seem to be all that great. I have two flights with them in F next week. One on the 738 and one on the A321. I am hoping for the new entertainment system.

I would say that UA has made tremendous improvement in their food product, but AA has s light edge. AA is still a little better, more professionally presented, more interested food. But this difference is slight, not as much as it used to be.
