American Airlines Grounding People On Christmas Eve. Pathetic.

Flying is a nightmare these days. Had an international flight cancelled at the last minute several months ago with no other flights available which almost completely ruined an expensive vacation. I only fly a handful of times a year but probably 50% of the time, regardless of airline, there is a problem

There is indeed a problem with the airline industry and i think the main issue is they're not being honest with us. They say dei, weather, ai, etc. but i believe it is a top down problem. The ceos, not unlike those in the health insurance industry, are nickel and dimeing, cheapening the experience while also neglecting plane manufacturing, plane maintenence, and proper employee training. Flying is awful anymore. Not just the big companies but the people too. Everyone is entitled n awful today. Im 33 n used to fly a lot as a kid. As an adult i wont do it if it can be avoided. Safe travels sir n merry Christmas.

Thank you! Merry Christmas! I understand what you're saying. Im 40, and when i started flying at 15 it was a different feeling of joy and excitement. People smiled and happily talked to one another. The stewards were jubilant about their career and made the people content with satisfactory service. So much has gone astray. And don't get me started on the entitlement of people😅! It is obvious greed is driving the down fall of this and many other industries, it needs to be put back in check. Thank you for your comment! I love flying, i dont want it to be banned, just reformulated to accommodate the customer and nor leave us abandoned and stressed out. Make flying fun again! Thank you for your comment! Merry Christmas!

@joshphillips3738 so true, that's why I said van it, out of the frustration and the audacity of the airlines playing that we need them and they don't need us. Horrible business they run .
