A tire blowout during takeoff can occur due to various factors, including manufacturing defects, foreign object damage on the runway, improper tire pressure, excessive weight, operational factors like high-speed taxiing, heat build-up from prolonged brake use, structural issues with the landing gear, or poor runway conditions.

You weren’t in danger, honesty a blow tire has a main landing gear for a reason you can still go through the runway but you will not be allowed to enter the main hub of an airport without it being checked out first, if it was in air then that would’ve have been a horrible problem.

Blessing in disguise. Better caught on landing. Than in air. Because a tragedy would've happened. Then we hear it on the news, of all passengers being dead.
@MichiganAviation1353 ай бұрын
A tire won’t blow in the air. The reason is blew out is because all of the pressure on departure. And no one is gonna die. The pilots know how to deal with this and I can’t recall an aviation disaster that happened because of a tire blowout.
@MilaMila202403 ай бұрын
IDK, you always hear these stories. When comes to airplane crash. It all depends on the pilot. Some pilots ignore the warning signals inside the cockpit. Because their main focus is the destination. If not mistaken.There was this flight back in the 90s. It was Chilean flight. Only 20 mins from take off. And the plane crash into the ocean. All passengers/crew members died. Later to found it was the pilot fault. He CHOSE to ignore the problem. Failed contact traffic control in the moment.

Another incident that could’ve ended tragically. This is one of the industries where people should be taking their jobs very seriously because when things go wrong it can lead to several deaths. And people on the top need to not only make that a priority over stuff their pockets but also not keep someone around with a history of slacking off.. And this doesn’t help alleviate the anxiety for anyone who has fears of flying especially if they’ve experienced an incident during a bad flight.
