In this video my American and Puerto Rican friends react to Eurovision Song Contest. In each episode we will skip Back and Forth in the History of Eurovision to watch some of the more interesting entries that the countries had to offer!!!

Especially if Wild Dances was based on the Ukrainian folk with trembitas used in the beginning and the costume was also based on folk traditions.

If you would listen to this song when it was competing in Ukraine you can hear that the base and the drums where not that high, they changed it for the ESC final to have a better chance of winning. Dont get me wrong, I love this song and I love Ruslana. I have this song on my playlist, its a real pick-me-up song. 😊

1991 ? Also known as the greatest robbery of ESC (seriously, they could have awarded the win to 2 different songs, a bit like in 1969). Although my favourite ESC song is Kan and 1991 is my favourite contest ever (that I know of). Finally, were you talking about Fangad am ev Stormvind or C'est le dernier qui a parlé qui a raison ?
