Why am I smiling through this entire clip? Maybe because of the iconic music by The Supremes and the beautiful young people, black and white, dancing and smiling. I hope we can get back to that idealism!

@@juneandrus2840 In most cases, these people are 65 years or younger and came of age musically when either they were preparing the public for Diane's solo career when she was still in The Supremes or they were born when Diane was already a solo performer. They were influenced by all the Motown propaganda to promote Diane's solo career and, as a result, think that it was always about Diane. Whenever you hear someone call them, "Diana Ross and The Supremes," you know that they are "younger" and big "Ross as a solo act" fans. They know little about THE SUPREMES because they are only looking back at history through a "Ross colored" lens. The song that had everybody singing in 1967 even kids is now almost the least iconic song out of the 12 #1s which is very ironic as the official vid has less than 1 million views (519K)

Did you ever see the Scene on Mad Men where Don Draper is on his way to see Megan who was in California Acting and he got ready to see her by shaving and getting himself together. Then going on the Escalator a la Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate. A True Metrosexual.

Agreed. It would be nice to hear from them.Unfortunstely,I think they are the generation that are not too much into new technology,so probably won't know that they are on You Tube.I could though be totally wrong.

@@martinandrews7387 Yes. Totally wrong. Graduated in 1968 and well into technology. Love watching these clips. Miss those days. The clothes and hairstyles were simple, cute and real. We danced to have fun, not to show off. The music was and is still the greatest. To this day, most of us can hear just the first two notes of a song and can say the name of the song and the group/artist in a split second. Beautiful times that I feel so blessed to have lived.

I read somewhere that Diana, Mary and Cindy performed "Reflections" on AB, but I've never seen any evidence of it. You would think that the Supremes would have been on the show at least once in the mid-60s!
