I’m not here to judge Leif cause I didn’t live his life but I know he had a rough ride after his stardom and that’s always heartbreaking to me. As long as they are able to get help for dugs and booze so they don’t die is all that matters. They are humans alike all of us and only trying to make a living and do well at it, again like us all. He was soooo young getting into the game and I hope parents today realize it’s not meant for every child … it’s a hard life.

Curiosity had me look up this film. Apparently, it was scrapped, and he ended up making the moving Longshot. What I found: A proposed biopic of "Little Red" Danny Lopez was canceled. He had his trademark long hair cut for this film. Afterwards he grew his hair long again, but then had to have it cut short for The Outsiders. He later said he had not wanted to make a film about foosball but was forced to do it by his producers the Scotti Brothers.

Yes, he shouldn't have gone into the Car knowing Lief was drunk. It kind of reminds me of School's Out, The Degrassi Movie where Lucy Fernandes goes into a Car with Derek "Wheels" Wheeler knowing he was Drunk and almost ended up Blind and Paralyzed for life. Looking back I sometimes wished he had talked to Aaron Carter who almost became another Teen Idol Tragedy but thanks to help and counselling he's much healthier. When a person is on Drugs, they always look bad. Did you know that when he was addicted to Drugs, Smokey Robinson weighed 180 when he was supposed to be 200 Pounds.

Yes the 70's were very different time. A much better time in the world and i'm not saying that because i grew up in the 70's. Our generation was after the turbulent 60's and the Vietnam War. And we were fortunate in that the biggest anxiety was the Cold War. We also didnt't have as many drug problems or racial and social issues during this period. However i will be the first to admit that my generation (1961-1963 tail end of baby boomer generation) ended up being one of the most selfish and self centered generations. Good people but for some reason they ended up becoming very conservative and self centered in many ways. I have always been a moderate to progressive but most of my friends ended up being conservative to the extreme.
