Love the song, but these 2 lines are a bit baffling: “Goodbye came like the morning sun She fired shots from a loaded gun.” The stanza right before says “kisses felt like a loaded gun” but the lines in question could be interpreted as referring to a literal gun. So, yes, a few more words (or a few less) would be helpful.
