I watched a bunch of vids how Argentina is the place to be. 3 days ago I left BA to CDMX. So, it is definitely in a different category than Europe, you do not take your iPad out of your bag. I came up with the idea to walk from San Telmo to La Boca and had to quit halfway it was just too dangerous. On Sundays when shops are closed the danger factor goes double. He will learn.

Yes, hopefully he will learn without getting hurt but he´s way too overconfident about how safe it is. Palermo and Recoleta are very nice, lots of police as he says in another video, but people get mugged all the time, even in those areas with a lot of police. Super careful with phones, cameras and bags.

Great obsevations, man. I wish him and his family well. At least he is looking ahead and making a move to better his childrens future. My kids are all hard working here in South Carolina, and it's gut-wrenching seeing them unable to afford a house. I watched that disgusting Secret Service director testify yesterday; 3 billion dollar budget, and the Congress gave them 68 million MORE than they asked for. Collapsing empire is right. 🤬

I have spent seventeen weeks of my life, across seven trips, to Buenos Aires. There are times in which I would think he has a good idea.

Does he not realize how much freedom he has in the USA? It's not as though the USA is some sort of oppressive regime. There are good things and bad things about every country. What I would be interested to know is what state this guy is from and if he even considered moving to a different US state, because the degree of freedom you have does vary depending on which state you are in. Our family moved out of the USA in early 2023. My spouse and child are citizens of the country where we now live, I'm here as a legal resident. We moved for a bunch of reasons but one of the top reasons was that we wanted to be closer to his family. We're now an hour's drive away instead of a 12 hour flight.

Thats usually what I recommend people, look moving states, especially if you are from one of the known blue hellholes. Having said that he is right about the size of the government, how much power it has over its own population and the direction its going.
