My friends new GF had a problem with getting to sleep with someone else breathing in the room, so he had her play "rain sounds" on her phone at night next to her bed when he wasn't there, she started not only to get used to noises while sleeping but began to fall asleep faster and get a better (longer and deeper) nights sleep as a result!

I was at a comedy show in a tent in a pub garden in Norwich (England) about 15 years ago. The compere introduced a young lady I'd never heard of who wandered onto stage in a flowery dress looking pure and innocent. 20 minutes later I'm fighting for breath and doubled up with laughter. Pure filth! Loved it, loved her and loved your reaction!! 😉

All tickets refunded and I've never managed to see her in a full show since (I think I'm cursed a far as Sarah is concerned because I was due to see in 2020, but lockdown happened so it was then postponed, postponed again then cancelled), though I've caught her in her tryout gigs, her and half a dozen other comedians testing their new stuff.

I can relate to the breathing thing. An ex-girlfriend once told me she didn’t mind me breathing but did it have to be so constant in and out and so frequently once an hour would be better. She did offer to help with this problem with a pillow I declined as I was changing the locks😂😂😂

Before my husband got his CPAP machine (for sleep apnoea, which he refused to get diagnosed for 10 YEARS) I would get agitated when he STOPPED breathing. He was a champion foghorn snorer, but it was really uneven snoring... there'd be this gap in his breathing, where there was just silence; I'd be like "Oh my god, when's he going to breathe.. has it been too long? Should I do something... how long is too long--" and then he'd let rip with a deafening snore that would scare the crap out of me. And that cycle would continue over and over, ALL NIGHT. I got earplugs... his snoring broke through the earplugs. Now he's got the CPAP machine it's like sleeping next to Darth Vader every night - but it's heaven compared to the bad old days of his snoring!

I took my mum to see Sarah live a couple of years ago. Never laughed so much in my life and also never been so mortified sitting next to my mum !!! She is pretty crude but at the same time she says what most of us are thinking but don’t say. She talks about herself and things that happen to her which makes it so relatable. She does say the C word occasionally but usually for comic effect.

Early one morning I woke up in bed beside my wife of 35 years and suddenly I realised that I could not hear my wife's breathing. A chill went to my heart and for about a minute I held my breath so that I could try to hear her breathing. After the minute my wife started breathing properly again too my delight. What had happened was that she had also suddenly woken up and realised that I was not breathing therefore she also held her breath to listen to me. We could then laugh about it and there were lots of happy kisses and cuddles.

One comedian everyone should see is Hannah gadsbys Nannette you wont be able to do a reaction to it but it is the most important thing that has ever been on any stage. Please watch it in your own time I promise you will thank me after you do she is very funny but more importantly she touches on topics that aren't addressed normally and she raises questions that we all need to ask ourselves it is a life changing experience.

It's only shot but can I recommend "The Ballad of Barry and Fred" by Victoria Wood. There are several versions on KZbin. She also wrote, produced, directed and acted in amuchloved UK TV series called Dinner Ladiesit is full of fun, comedy, pathos and love. There are severaaal 'Best Bits' on KZbin worth catching up with as an example of simple but meaningful British TV. She was a wonderfully talented actor, comedian, writer, producer, musicial and much more, it broke all of our hearsts when this much loved character passed away all to early at the age of 62 with cancer. To honest I'm shedding a few tears as I write this remembering the wonderful gorgeous, talented woman.If you like Sarah you'd love Victoria.

A comedian you must watch is Sir Billy Connolly. There are so many short clips that are hilarious, one is 'The incontinent pants' this is hilarious. One a bit longer is with a chat show that started his tv career, his last appearance on it is 'Parkinson's Last Show Interview with Billy Connolly ' But any clip of him will be found to be very funny.
