Natasha and Debbie, Your thoughts and comments on the Queen have restored my faith in humanity. At the moment we here in UK are hearing and reading vile comments about our Queen and country coming from the foreign press especially the New York Times. I feel as if we are all here in the UK are under attack. We want to bury our Queen and to be left in peace to do it. So I thank you for all you have said and done, two decent people showing respect and sympathy to a nation in mourning for a woman who hurt no one. Thank You

I couldn’t have said it better Janice. I haven’t heard any awful comments anywhere as yet from American citizens, they have been so respectful and super supportive. Well said Janice, the vile press coming from the US has really angered me this week as we grieve our Queen, there total lack of knowledge of history is astonishing especially that vile professor woman who wished the Queen a slow painful death, absolutely disgusting, but I know this is only a very small minority, the US has always been our greatest friend and Allie and I know the vast majority of Americans loved our Queen 🇬🇧🇺🇲

And by the reaction of the people, how easy is it for you to forgive and forget everything that they have done. This includes the Queen who gave shelter to one of her sons who paid a fortune for a pedophile case to go away, even though he protest his innocence. People now getting charged for saying things while a mob in Scotland not arrested for vandalism. No one should be above the law, and that includes the Windsors with their fake name.

Buckingham Palace is more of a large office block if anything compared to Windsor Castle. For years she left Buckingham Palace on Thursday afternoons, heading for Windsor. I had a friend who was in the Police there. One Thursday afternoon, the corgis went in the car ahead of her and one of them did a massive and very smelly poo on the carpet. No one noticed until the Queen stepped in. Apparently, she went absolutely mad about it - at the dog she suspected of the major indiscretion. The dogs were shooed out swiftly and she went back in side whilst footmen scurried around to clean and sanitise and no doubt air freshen the vehicle. lol. I did wonder why another car wasn't brought around. She said.. Please let me know when the car is ready. lol. Nice to have someone do that work for you. lol..

This is my favourite castle, I love Windsor. My father was born in the living quarters of Windsor Castle, as my grandfather Major A Bell served in the Irish guards household staff for the Queen Mother and continued after her death for the late queen, although it was only for a short period for the queen as he then went to Whitehall to workout his retirement. After my grandfather retired he bought a property in line with Windsor Castle as he just love his privilege of serving for the royal family and loved the castle so much. My grandfather was awarded is position off the late queen. So much too see of the castle, brings back memories of visiting my grandfather.

When i think of the Royal Family, i think of their devotion to people of the United Kingdom and also of something the Queen's Mother said during the war. She was advised to take the princesses to safety in Canada. She replied, The children will not go without me, I will not go without the King and the King will NEVER leave. Moves me to tears whenever i think about that.

Thank you for your kind and beautifully spoken words. I have been watching the live stream of the Queen lying in state at Westminster Hall. It is impossible not to be touched watching peoples true affection, their love as they have that moment, a fleeting moment after hours of waiting, just to say goodbye and thank you. I am so incredibly homesick for the UK right now. I wish so much I could have waited in line to see the Queen, to meet King Charles, to be part of the moment. Instead of being there, I am soaking up as much coverage as I can of the event, and thinking deeply about the impact the Queen had/has upon my life, and the lives of many people in the UK and around the world. Rest In Peace Ma’am. God save the King.

I think HMTQ loved both Windsor and Balmoral. During WW2 The Queen and her sister Princess Margaret were evacuated as children to Windsor as Buckingham Palace was bombed. There are many cottages on the estate, Prince William and Catherine (Now the Prince and Princess of Wales) have only just moved there into Adelaide cottage a few weeks ago. Prince William was married at Westminster Abbey and Harry at St George's chapel Windsor. Thank you Natashia and Debbie for your respect, sincerity and dignity shown at this time, when sadly we are hearing of some who seem to be disparaging our late Queen and the country.

You mentioned HM having "class". I think your respectful response to her death indicates you both share that quality too. Two things have stood out to me this week, as I have observed it from E Africa. Firstly, the amazing, joyful welcome with which King Charles has been greeted, from Edinburgh to Cardiff, from London to Belfast. This has leavened the depths of sorrow with the yeast of hope that her son and grandson will build upon the Queen's legacy of grace and service. Secondly, seeing 14-year old James, Viscount Severn, yesterday joining his much older cousins in the vigil of the grandchildren at Westminster, poignantly reminded me of William & Harry following their mother's coffin 25 years ago.

As an ex-Serviceman, she was my boss, and I swore my oath to the Queen - and really did mean every word of it. My wife, Hong Kong Chinese has always considered the Queen to be her British mum and is quite devastated. Windsor Castle is a great visit - and I particularly love the royal apartments. There was some confusion about Frogmore. The first photo they showed near the beginning was Frogmore House not Frogmore Cottage. The cottage is in the grounds of the main house. The interiors of some of the state apartments, including St Georges Hall are all new as there was a massive fire in 1992 while it was undergoing refurbishment. Fortunately they managed to save a lot of the art works and furniture as it was all in storage due to the refurb. However that oak ceiling you admired is all new as the ceiling collapsed in the fire. The rebuild is pretty amazing craftsmanship and is an exact replica of the original.

Natasha and Debbie, when you come to the UK for a vacation do let us know - I would love to take you to lunch at a few of the old institutions I am a member of because I know you will appreciate it. Balmoral and Sandringham are the personal property of the Queen-King. The official Scottish residence of the monarch is Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. The St George's Chapel is the chapel of Windsor Castle and inside it. The roundey things are Turrets and or baileys. The squarey things are Battlements and Crenellations. The Castle encloses 13 acres - the Windsor Great Park is its old hunting ground. The royal residences are more extensive than you may realise. Buckingham Palace is only the most recent of a complex of palaces in the central part of London. St James's Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Gardens, google map this, are one large Royal Park . The official entrance to the complex is Horse Guards on Whitehall (a palace which has gone and replaced by government buildings, including the enclave of Downing Street). Within the parks complex and its edges are the royal chapel of Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Westminster which is the Houses of Parliament. The Westminster Hall, next to the parliament, of William II ,1086, is the oldest original palace building which is why the Queen lies in State there. The ancient St James's Palace, technically the official Royal Court, is to the North West. It has two other smaller palaces next to it - Clarence House, the Queen Mother then Prince Charles lived there, and Lancaster House which is now the HQ of the Commonwealth. Then there is Kensington Palace to the far part of the complex which is where various members of the family live in London eg Wlliiam and Kate. Then back to Buckingham Palace. If that is not enough, there was a Greenwich Palace, Christopher Wren designed it for William and Mary, about five miles down river, but it was transferred to the Royal Navy as its military college and a dozen years ago was transferred to the new Greenwich University. Well worth a visit.

The main Windsor estate is about 850 acres and lies on the south bank of the River Thames west of London (and just south of the large town of Slough). Heathrow Airport is only 5 miles east of the castle. The oldest parts of the current castle buildings are almost 800 years old - and it has been a Royal residence for that whole period.

You two seem like my kind of people :D I am originally from Iceland but currently live in England and I share your enthusiasm for learning about this country. The mood here now is quite strange, to be honest, where people go about their day as usual but still it seems like a blanket of sorrow is hovering above. You can see pictures of her everywhere in shop windows, where companies are paying their respects to her, and flags are lowered to half-mast in many private gardens. You can feel the queen's presence everywhere, it's like she's embracing a now orphaned nation that needs her to console them in their grief. It's a strange thing to see, but also heartwarming.

Hiya ladies ... I live around 10 minutes drive from Windsor and drive by the cast often. It is enormous as you mentioned. It was great seeing your reactions to somewhere so close to where I have lived all my life. I have never taken it for granted. I have seen the late Queen and many other royals come and go from the castle. The changing of the guards happens most days at 11am where you can witness new guards leaving the barracks just around the corner and March up to the castle to take over from the previous guard duty. For locals it can be a little irritating as the traffic is stopped while the guards change and I have sat waiting in a queue of cars until the change has completed. It is lovely living so close to the castle and Ascot racecourse about 5 minutes from where I live, where her majesty would attend every year with her horses. The clip you showed in the video where the Queen was laughing, it was the year that one of the Queens horses won a cup race...she was jumping with excitement. If you ever make it over here, I would be happy to show you around. Thanks for the respect and kindness shown to our country as we mourn our Queens passing. X

At a time like this do many Americans remember that their fore fathers came from Europe where all countries until recent history had Kings and Queens. Many of them related to Queen Victoria as some of her children married the heir to their thrones. This is your heritage too.

I would like it if you covered the funeral (well, some of it). Prince William's marriage was at Westminster Abbey. Thank you, ladies, for your thoughtfulness. xx

I do enjoy seeing your reaction to our country. It is easy to take things for granted and not realise what you have. The two of you will have an amazing time when you decide to visit the UK. The changing of the guard at Buckingham palace is a must see.

Is Woods of Windsor still there? They got more out of Lavender than anyone else (Lavender flavoured chocolates, anyone?) and yes, it did have Letters Patent as suppliers to the Queen (and probably still will - Camilla, the Queen Consort is thought to be a fan).

@@robertwilloughby8050 it's closed at the moment, not sure if closed for good or renovation! A huge loss to the lavender and lily of the valley trade!!

Thanks once again for a very well done and respectful video. Windsor Castle is a great place, I visited there and St Georges Chapel back in 2019 and it was amazing. I even got to see the changing of the guard when they march through the streets into the castle which was an unexpected highlight. Then as an added bonus, I went on a boat trip along the Thames and saw Jimmy Page's house :)

The New York Times are disgraceful. She was our Queen, and it doesn’t matter what any of them say, we know how lucky we were to have her. The tributes from world leaders and foreign dignitaries around the world, show how loved and respected she was.
