I am sure Ari's parents would bring home lots of fond memories in China. I can't help, but feel a sense of vicarious happiness seeing them enjoying themselves. Jay is a 'phenomenal' husband and in-law, so is Ari a kind soul with an angelic smile all the times. The in-laws are nice people too. I can only wish and dream their pleasant encounters in China reflect the real world we are living. We can always not agree on something, or even begrudge others' achievements, but it should never warrant any misinformation, or even violence. Only then, there will be no wars, no conflicts and no fear of personal safety and abuses. Life is too short for all the negativity and misery, but just long enough to ooze true happiness if all of us make effort to make our community, even if it is not the world, a better place to live...

You should take your American in law to Beijing for Emperor palace - Great Wall of China, Xian - known for Terra-Cotta Warriors, QingDao - known for its' great beer, Xiamen, Dalian, Tianjin, Harbin, Shenzhen - City of China Tech, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming,Tianjin, Hong Kong, Macao, Guangdong, Hainan Island, Zhangjiajie where they made the movie of Avatar base on the rare landscape and many more beautiful cities to name a fews.

文化差异，其实真的没有必要，小礼物即可，还有请老外吃什么甲鱼燕窝那些的他们根本不领情还觉得恶心，所以不要送你觉得他们喜欢的，如果不是这么亲近他们收到贵重礼物还有压力有负担，因为觉得要还一样的礼物，一个中国家庭来英国访问学者，孩子和班里一个英国小孩玩儿的好，就请那个小孩儿吃饭店和送乐高，真的没有必要，还让对方觉得有负担，因为不是特殊情况生日之类的不会随便送礼物。
