Valeria Vagapova it’s not tinder that’s the problem. It’s just that Russians are more conservative, cultural, loving, and family oriented. Unlike most people in the West with no cultural values. In Russia its traditional to get married in your prime (18-25 for female) unlike here where people sleep around in their prime because it’s “liberating” and then marry desperately in their 30s and 40s which explains why marriages are so unhappy and the high divorce rate in the US.

My BookBlog Exactly! I was born in the USA but have always held a traditional mindset, and am a person who needs to see a man's actions prove his words to me over a long period of time. I do not date just to date, but rather only for the purpose of marriage. It disgusts me what all I was exposed to all thatl I saw growing up in America how so many girls get taken advantage of by guys here and allow themselves to be taken for granted and used just because the guy said he loves you. This is really nice to see.. I live in the US, I was raised in Puerto Rico and until recently I was in a beautiful serious relationship with a guy from east Ukraine. I never heard of anybody in Russia being so obsessed with being "pure Russian" and counting generations. Not to mention that most people only really know their ancestors maaaybe 3 generations back and no one cares much about being "pure Russian" anyway, especially considering all the mixing that went on during the Soviet times. There are certain ethnic backgrounds that I think Russian parents might be likely to be against, but honestly being from Puerto RIco/US doesn't seem like it would cause issues. Yes, there are some common abbreviations! It's mostly things like: очень - оч(very), может быть - мб(maybe), день рождения - др(birthday), новый год - нг(new year), хрен знает - хз(idk)... Kids/teens use more slang of course, and it's generally considered to be poor taste to use abbreviations excessively, it's mostly used in casual texting with close friends/family.

People tend to do it, some to the crazy degree so you can barely understand. But it depends on your circle. I myself never use abbreviations and even employ proper punctuation (in Russian, I’m not that good at English) which sometimes even sets people off, when they think I’m being condensending. (Somewhat random) question: is it typical for Russian guys to walk a girl home after seeing each other? Like it's not an official date or anything but something like you've just spent maybe a few hours walking or going on a hike together or something, or both of you just happened to be walking home from a party or a social gathering or something. Really depends on the person, the vibe and the situation imo, I think it's just about reading social clues at that point. It's not super typical, but not untypical either. I would say if it only takes a short walk for you then it's seen as more casual and not so weird, but it definitely can be a bit creepy if you're following the girl to the opposite side of the city or something lol, especially if you just met and she's not feeling some magical super smooth connection. Overall, it's hard to generalise, but yeah, not weird if it's a short walk for you (5-10 min max). It's usually prefaced with a suggestion/question too, not just silently following her lol.

Hello guys I think this may make a great future video for ya and although I know its way far in the future , but parenting styles from the way Americans raise their children compared to the way Russians raise their kids maybe a bit different in ways and the same in others. It might be fun to see how your styles might differ. Some of these questions would relate to being helicopter parents or a free-range approach when parenting • How were you two raised as children and when you get married how would you raise your kids ? • Were you in daycare or did your mom or dad stay at home with you until you were of school age? • Do you think daycare is healthier for a child than staying at home with a parent? • Would you let your child run errands with their older sibling say siblings a 10 and 11 some may feel that helps a child to be independent? • Your topic today was dating and I know the nudity part may be off topic but what are your thoughts on bathing with your kids when they are younger. Do you prefer your kids to be embarrassed when it comes to nudity or comfortable about it , some cultures don’t have issues with fathers and sons showering together and mothers and daughters doing that ? • When raising your child will you teach them that they can stay with you as long as they want are will you encourage them to go off to college and make a life of their own? at 30 if they havent gone on their own how would you handle that? • Would you encourage your child with sports, theatre, musical instruments etc. or would you prefer them to find that on their own. • At what age would you have he “talk” with your child about the birds and the bees and would you encourage birth control (the pill or condoms) if you let them go on dates before they are 18 or would you just let whatever happen happen. • Would you encourage gender fluidity or teach your child the same way you were taught about gender. • Without actually talking about religion how would you raise your kids and morals. • How much parental involvement would you give your child when growing up, would you help them with school projects or would you like for them to do it on their own then come to you for guidance? • Would you o to every dance practice and softball or tennis or hockey game? • You get the line of questioning I am going for there are many topics you could discuss. I know it hasn’t happened but if it did tomorrow or next year what would you do then?

I definitely would say this isn't necessarily the norm in the US - at least hookup culture is a subculture in the American dating world. Even in terms of the speed of it. I personally have never had experiences like what she speaks about above. Maybe it's the norm in LA - I can believe that, and in a lot of places but it will always depend. Though I will say Russians do tend to have more of a procedure ; in the US I can agree it is more haphazard

Lol it’s tough in the U.S. I constantly get harassed at my work place for being a virgin - I’m 20 yrs old. Why do they know that? Bc my work place is made up mostly of women and naturally us women talk and my lack of “experience” quickly became obvious. My coworkers for some reason found it necessary to tell my male bosses- who for months would come up with ridiculous reasons for my virginity. One time they had a running joke that I was abused as a child ......To not be sexually active nowadays in the states is tough, not necessarily in refraining but in dealing with the strong opinion of others - it’s ironic how sexual freedom is a running theme in the U.S but it does not apply to those who prefer the liberty in keeping their virginity
