Thanks for the advice. But ok. I did it for 3 years and it didn't change my lupus, but lost some weight and I was totally vegan and ate nothing but vegetables and cut out on sugar and carbs and processed . I have mentioned this in my stream before, and I have cut out on quite a bit probably more self-control than a lot of you guys have over your alcohol and cigarettes and other things.I have multi-medical issues that qualify for permanent medical in my weight is not one of them. It does help to cut out the sugar as far as some of my pain levels but it's not going to fix my other issues. And even if I lost every single pound I'm still going to have those issues.

Wasnt pointing fingers at anyone specifically just that Philipinnes and filipino diets are full of sweet sugary 'foods' that end lives early. Cut out all sugar and bad carbs you will have no choice but lose weight, be healthier and live longer. Sugar is a drug. Its addictive and has no nutrional value.

That’s why you do a trust. The trust takes effect immediately but they have to prove they meet eligibility of whatever it is. Trusts eliminate probate. 🙂

If you are a U.S. citizen living in the Philippines on a 13A visa, and you earn income from KZbin or other U.S.-based platforms, that income is considered foreign-sourced and is not subject to Philippine income tax. However, you are still required to report and pay taxes on that income to the U.S. government, as U.S. citizens are taxed on their global income.

I doubt Jen will receive the benefit as she does not have the residency requirements to receive survivor benefits outside the US, only Rogan would be entitled the survivor benefits. If the one disabled daughter qualified for benefits when MT started his retirement, she would be entitled to survivor benefits also.

I've been stuck in probate since May 2020 and I don't mind. My wife was first generation American from Philippines. Born to Filipino parents after they moved here. We didn't get married but we shared a house, property, and children. She had a quick marriage in 12th grade HS and daughter that wanted nothing to do with her. Father used her like a weapon. Lawyer told us to get married, it would fix the issues and I would come before the children. However, this was March of 2020 and lockdowns were happening. So, the lawyer made a Will with special provisions over the hecteres in the Philippines. That's the only thing that has to be passed to the children when the youngest one turns 18. I don't have to give anything to anyone unless it has a named beneficiary, like life insurance. Even it was her verbal wishes. Anyway, every situation is a unique mess and that's why she needs a consult with an attorney.

Somebody says it might be a trust that he set up for her but even then there are still some rules. But she still needs to set up the proper deal with her KZbin channels. It's just complicated when somebody dies. Thank you for your comment.

I believe when all the dust is settled, Jen and Rogan will be fine. They appear to have a loving family and support system surrounding them. I understand everyone has opinions on various issues and situations but if you really don’t have any personal stake on MT’s estate, all the barking will get you no where. All we can do is watch it play out in whatever court or venue it needs to proceed with. Since this is a matter not everyone usually goes through, there is some intrigue and definitely learning moments especially since different set of rules (Phil.) will apply except for what might still be in the states. I just hope everyone had their say and will eventually let MT rest in peace.

Social media in the Philippines is intensified in comparison to western worlds. But there are Filipinos who are very conservative. It’s just like night and day. You either post your whole life and drama on KZbin, or you don’t. And the western expats people tend to get caught up in it, since they vlog as a hobby or do it just to make some extra money.

If he had a trust then it doesn’t have to go through probate . That’s the reason for having a trust . The will would be in addition to the trust . If he had a trust then there should have been an executor assigned for the trust . Based on Marks past comments he didn’t have many assets . So maybe not too much to fight for . Good points though about who has claim to the KZbin adsense dollars . Note that not only is business money races by the PI but if you are American you have to pay American taxes above the exemption amount . The United States is one of the few countries that still taxes its citizens who live abroad for amounts above the exemption.
