I remember that Jollibee. Whenever my family go to Luneta Park, one of the places we would go is that Jollibee. I remember it built around narra (the national tree of the Philippines) since it was forbidden to chop those trees. Love that you enjoyed your visit in the Philippines. Keep it up.

Originally McDonald's spaghetti before was a bit sour but since they need to adjust to the Filipino palate esp for the kids they had to make it sweet and for them to stay competitive w/ of course Jollibee that's why most of the menus are quite the same also. Filipino spaghetti is usually made w/ tomato sauce and banana ketchup hence it's sweet. The chicken tho both from Jollibee and Mcdo depends on how long it's been cooked guess you got lucky that mcdo were just cooked the time you ordered it. You can also try Jollibee's Palabok, Burger Steak meal, Chicken burger, the Pineapple juice and the must have Peach Mango pie! And dip your chicken joy in the gravy next time and with the rice it just taste so good together.👍

I am a Filipino but I prefer the McDonalds burger and fries... but with the chicken? It's definitely Jollibee. 😊 So I mostly go to Jollibee because of the chicken. Anyways the taste of the fries and spaghetti is still good. Thank you for your honest opinions. 👍

We actually do take outs from McDonalds and order & eat at Jollibee's and vice versa when some of our friends crave something from a different fast food chain, it's totally fine in the Philippines because what's important is that we eat together. :) btw, your kids are respectful and well behave, good job parents!

I always come to Mcdonald's to park, but dine with Jollibee 😅. If you compare the price of every menu side by side, Mcdonald's is actually more expensive than Jollibee. Normally, Jollibee is far more juicier than Mcdonald's. I think you got a cold chicken from Jollibee. You should also have its own gravy (sauce). Try again next time.

It's always been a battle of location for McDonald's and Jollibee. If there's a McDonald's in one corner expect a Jollibee acrform it. You will always see kids with their parents or aunties or grandparents with them eating. While McDonald's you will see high schoolers or college students or employees eating there.
