The "chicken" 🤣 is actually a rooster. The fighting rooster has been a symbol of France since Roman time, as the ancient name for France was Gallia (or Gaul) and the rooster in Latin is Gallo. PS: Gallia refers to the Celtic inhabitants of France; Wales, and Galicia share the same root for their names too.
