AMAZING!! A pop tab project that makes something I actually WANT. I loved it. A LOT. I can only imagine the design possibilities using graph paper - one square per tab. Genius. I made 'chain' from pop tabs and made it into a hanging planter, macrame style. That's a good one too. It hangs on my porch.

Counted - 28 tabs in one row of blue and white 3 rows of red - 23 tabs per row (7 rows of red) All 3 rows per stripe = 69 tabs 3 rows of white - 23 tabs per row (6 rows of white) All 3 rows per stripe = 69 tabs 50 white tabs for the stars 20 blue rows down 13 stripes for the Original colonies 510 blue tabs + 50 white tabs = 560 tabs 483 red tabs for the stripes 414 white tabs for the stripes I might of missed counted but the count might be 1,457 tabs in total. 1463 tabs stated in video -1457 tabs I counted ----------------------------- 6 difference in count

Hello and thanks for checking out my video. I had to recheck my math after reading your comment. There are 20 rows of 38 tabs, and 19 rows of 37 tabs. 20x38= 760 19x37=703 760+703=1463. It's kinda hard to see in the video but they are all there. Thanks again.

How are you able to break down the colors to do a picture with pop tabs? I see your other thumbnails and they are beautiful. I want to do something with a lot of colors but I don't know how to start the project. I did something for my mom years ago and it took me 3 days just to make her a 5 ft. pop tab belt with leather ribbon.

Damn! Somebody beat me to this. I was gonna do the same thing, but in cdhain format, using precolored red and blue tabs, silver in place of the white, and then cut the stars out of the Monster/Jolt/NOS 24 ounce can twist caps. My version would have used almost 812,000 tabs.
