Yes!! I totally agree! I really like the idea of giving the dolls fall outfits, and expanding the historical best friend collections to represent different backgrounds during different time periods. I would love for AG to come out with more historical outfits. I love that they are rereleasing old outfits but they need new ones as well. I wish they would focus on the dolls farther back in history too though. I feel like all the attention is on Nicki, Isabel, Courtney, and Julie.

1000% agreed to everything! They are definitely focused on the more recent historicals right now. But with how well Addy, Kirsten, and Josefina sold, I'm hoping that will be enough justification to work on the older girlies as well.

Oh I am seated! I totally agree that more books and outfits are vital. I am guessing that the lack of those two factors are why the best friends didn't sell as well as the main characters, and likely the reason why they were retired when the be forever rebrand was being strategized. I hope we see these changes, it would be so cool!

I have always thought that AG needs to bring the best friend dolls back,like why did they take them away? I personally love all of the best friend dolls and hope to add all of the best friends to my collection...honestly I agree with you on everything you said in your video:) LOL I just really want AG to bring back the best friend dolls and I have always felt this way...

Yesss!! I don't know why they retired them- especially since dolls like Elizabeth, Nellie, and Emily seemed to have sold really well. Maybe it had to do with the beforever rebrand? Who knows!

I agree,don't get me wrong I do love the fact that the Beforever rebrand made the books longer as I really enjoy that I don't have to buy all 6 or 7 books,but at the same time I don't like it becasue I loved the fact and love that the best friends get their own book. I feel like like AG should bring them back,I like the idea of bringing new clothes with the best friends back,I really just love the best friends,I don't get why they would of taken them away becasue they got more money from people buying the historical characters and their best friends with them

I really enjoyed this video. Check out KZbin's Lady Rebecca Fashions channel. She is a fashion historian/cosplay person and goes through some of the historical dolls and discusses the accuracy of the outfits, very interesting. I would really love to have AG come out with new outfits instead of re releases (not pink).

I agree that A.G. had to bring back the Best Friends dolls, but there are even others which deserve to put back for sale: first of them are Chrissa and her two B.F. Sonali and the other (I don't remember her name) who played the violin; I really love Sonali: she is a adorable dark skinned girl child and have her is my (currently unachievable) dream. About Kit, I know her history and agree that even Ruthie deserves to be brought back, oh yes 😊. I also believe that they had to be put back with their original outfit, which is a essential part of their appeal: other outfits could be sold separately as it already happens with the characters currently for sale.

Those are all beautiful dolls! My guess is that they wouldn’t bring back Chrissa, Gwen, or Sonali since they were part of the Girl of the Year line, so hypothetically they are only available for that year. While more recently, they’ve sold the GOTY dolls for a year or two after their year, I think that’s an overstock issue and not intentional.
