Your honest assessments of shopping are really helpful! I love your idea for recreating wedding outfits. I also appreciate that you lump "hauls" together. It's easy for me to avoid when I'm not feeling in the consumption mood :). Please don't take that the wrong way... your creative wardrobes and scenes and stories and all are so wonderful, I kinda love that they are separated from the shopping just for simplicity of knowing what to expect.

Wow mapleLea paying for The fix for their outfit staining the AG doll is so Canadian. That's so above and beyond sweet. They are advertising that their clothes are good for using with AG so it's smart of them business-wise. It makes me want to go buy more Maplelea

Compress the packing material and turn it into hay bails for fall decorations , or use for dolls animal straw for bedding or eating ?….. love the wedding picture . I hope some one reaches out for that tailored suit. Maybe try letting out the seams in the dress ( if there are any seam allowances) and trying to dye it . No loss right ?

Yeah, I think I'll still use it but I'll either remove it after only a day or two or I'll put it over a very thin long-sleeved shirt. And I want to do a vinegar soak before I put it on a doll again.

Love all the items! I’ve purchased several items from the gray market. They’re definitely items that were rejected in the production of AG items, and I personally have no problem buying them knowing that they have some defect. I love the Maplelea items, (I have the little Sock Moose set-it’s so cute), and all the Etsy items! You make me feel better about all the purchases I make for my dolls! 😜😆

I had purchased the moose set and the moose slippers and bag, and ended up with alot more their quality is so great. Yes some things bleed but so does some things from AG and they have been so nice on the phone and I get them within 2 weeks to Florida. I just got their new catalogue and I will be ordering again! Just love their things. So thank you for sharing.

Yes, both companies have generally good quality with occasional mishaps (you could argue AG has more quality control issues). Overall, I'm very happy with Maplelea clothing!

Great haul! The dress Prim wore for the renaissance fair is so pretty. I love Maplelea clothing too. I can’t wait to get the sock moose set and raccoon nightgown. I’ve had them both in my cart and just never place the order.

Bummer about the Lowe’s bucket being a member exclusive. I hadn’t looked into getting it yet, but thought it was cute! I have a similar tool box gift card holder, but I think it’s from Home Depot. Love the tiny metal tools! I use mine for Wellie Kendall’s meet accessories since she had a lot of tools needing contained.

Yeah, someone on a doll FB group was selling the buckets for $5. Percentage-wise it's a hefty mark-up but the end price isn't crazy. Unfortunately, all 5 she had listed sold, so no bucket for me for now :)

Lol. It was at LEAST 3 times. Those Etsy orders kept trickling in lol. And I'd wear my glasses on screen but the ring light glare is HORRIBLE. I'm glad you enjoyed the Maplelea items. Did you get their latest catalog? Several new outfits in it :)

I know what you mean about the glasses. I really need mine to see but I prefer not to wear them when I’m filming. That usually doesn’t last long! Because AG is quite stingy at offering replacement parts these days, I don’t mind ordering from the grey market sellers. Sometimes I want just one piece from a set yet don’t want it complete, or sometimes I buy an incomplete set used and need to replace an item. I bought Melody’s microphone used this year without the tambourine so I was glad to find the tambourine on the grey market.
