Hello! Thank you so much for sharing all this news. I definitely come here first for my AG news. I do have a question for you and the community! I have been getting these notifications now for a while but have never attended an event. Are these fun to go to? I guess, are they mostly a shopping spree with snacks or is there a get together/social aspect to it? I have to drive quite a ways so I have never attended one.

You are welcome! It was fun for me last time I went!If you decide to attend I would try and connect with collectors in your area before you go. There is a FB group called “Dolly Domaine “ which I recommend for connecting with other local doll collectors.

I made a reservation at the NYC store. Now, whether I make it in time is another thing! I’ll be coming off a cruise ship so it all depends on how quickly we debark! 😂

I live 4 hours and 46 min from Palo Alto, CA (Bay Area) but the American Girl store is permanently closed there in the Stanford Shopping Center. I’m so sad 😭 There is an American Girl Store in Los Angeles on Santa Monica Blvd. but it’s 6 hours and 11 minutes from my house unfortunately 😢 Anyway, I’m happy that you are attending the brunch event. I would have purchased the $165 deal 😁 I hope you have a wonderful time and I’m excited about the GOTY Summer too!!!😀🤩

I grew up in the Bay Area! I live in North Texas now. Sorry that the Bay Area doesn’t have a store anymore (I never went to it). I went to the one in DFW once after I moved here, but last year it moved and is fortunately closer to where I live now. Will have to go to the new storefront soon.

The doll tee shirt is pretty exciting for those who get to go. I think the last GOTY to get something more than paper and stickers was Kira. I went to that event right before the Seattle store closed.

Yeah, what is going on with the rewards? I didn’t get mine this month yet either. And last month they gave me a “bonus” $20 Berry reward only without converting any of my points.

My rewards show up on my dashboard on the website. Sometimes you have to log out and log back in to see them. I have not received an email yet.

Very intersting: the release of a new A.G. doll of the year is always an event; but I don't understand how you realized to know that this Summer Mckin (completed with the picture) will be the new girl of the year, as the official announce has been not yet released. As I see, she looks a cute doll, not so different from Lila, but I need to know something more about the character to judge her. As I live in Europe, I cannot go to see the event, but I will be happy to follow it on line as soon it will be available, maybe I'll consider to purchase this doll.
