Thanks for the review! I’m a Ravenclaw, too, but I needed it all so I got the ultimate collection. I would still love two more robes so each house has a robe. I love the trunk! It reminds me of a miniature version of Kit’s. I do wish AG had given us a castle backdrop to enhance play.

This is a wonderful review of the Harry Potter pieces that you have. I like your evaluation of the items. I have some on order. This 71 year- old is a Harry Potter fan and an American Girl fan. I already have Hermione that was pieced together with plenty of potion bottles. I'm adding Harry and Luna, because she was such a cool character. Enjoy!

I’m so excited for this collab. I’m a Hufflepuff so,I want that one first then Ravenclaw. I’m going to spring for the pants outfit because...boys clothes! I want black boys dress shoes really bad. I think that’s all I’m gonna get. The sorting hat is cute, but I’m not going to sort my dolls. Don’t need a Nimbus 2000 either. I can reproduce the trunk for a lot cheaper and in better materials. But, those knitted house items are the best and for a remarkably good price.

I love this video! I’m trying to decide between the robe set and the sweater. I need different items from each set. LOL I think the pants and robe would look adorable on my truly me 77. I ordered the Ravenclaw sweater, skirt uniform, and sorting hat/broom. I'm think of just making the trunk myself with one of the wood "mini" trunks from Michaels. And I've got the Simplicity pattern, if I want to make more robes.

Awlsome im in Raven claw house too. after seeing your video im getting the iteams too i might get Ravenclaw or another house with the ropes for the girls and the sorting hat and the trunk. I can't get all the houses. I love harry potter too ive seen all of the movies alot of times and read some of the books too.

Now,I want the trunk. I ordered the Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff sweater sets and the Sorting Hat w/broom on the 8th. They haven't shipped yet. And I got the Gryffindor sweater set on the 9th, also not shipped yet. I feel the cloak,skirt(or pants)is too pricey at $55 or $50(honestly don't remember which).

this is awesome! I'm a harry potter fan and a ravenclaw as well and I also get the angst on the author. recently, I have been trying to find ways to purchase harry potter that are not on official shops like ebay and others but will make some exceptions for certain things. though I am not sure if the money spent on the American girl website will be sent to the author, I really want to get the harry potter merch for my doll, especially the boys' clothing items. thanks for showing this though and keep up the good work!

I'm pretty sure that since Mattel (who owns american girl) owns the producing rights for Harry Potter (basically where they can make official merch) that JK Rowling won't get money from this collaboration as Mattel already owns the producing rights for Harry Potter

I am not in the generation that watched Harry Potter. But, my nephews were of the same generation. I think that the Harry Potter collection is cool. I remember going to Universal Studios with my nephews and niece. It was a lot of fun and I bought Carmel apples for the whole family. It was like Halloween in the middle of the summer. But, I am saving for a Christmas outfit for my dolls.

@@MaylynnAG thanks for asking. The trunk itself is a plastic version of Gabriela’s dance trunk. It is sturdy but very plastic. The strap is a pleather material which upgrades it a bit. But the real treasures are inside. The replica miniatures are really on point. I have each of those items in real life as I have been to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios and they did really good there. Definitely a great item for the enthusiast.
