my theory is that Big Daddy is the “fear demon”. For any fear, like the addiction demon because the demons can physically do and cause things in AHS world. I liked the Theo death scene, calling back to the deer from the first scene. The fact that he abruptly died before his story was complete, just like AIDS did to real people took them away with no explanation or closure for those who lost them.

It’s literally what happens. You can’t expect people to cater to your feelings because certain words trigger and/or offend you especially when dealing with medical terminology when it’s only used to describe what happens. I highly doubt the medical field was trying to offend people when they came up with the word “infect”.
