Fiona Goode was my favorite character that Jessica Lange played on the show. She had so many amazing moments that can be quoted. And the scene in the hospital when she brought the baby back to life showed that she had some good in her even though she was wicked.

Constance Langdon was my favourite performance of hers. She injected a lot of humour in to the dark material and a lot of menace and pathos. Lange has always excelled at portraying the fading southern belle and so this role catered to all her great skills as an actress. Some very memorable moments of Constance are; Her introduction in the kitchen with Vivien, the scene where she tried to get Adelaide's soul in to the house and her closing monologue in the salon.

There are moments in each of her seasons when she brought her A game. Tour de force monologues. In Murder House, in the finale, when Constance's at the hairdresser. That monologue was outstanding and won her the Golden Globe and the Emmy. In Asylum, the one about the squirrel or the scene in the dinner with the Angel of Death were two of the best acted scenes on television, ever. With Fiona, the third episode when she kills Emma Robert's character is amazing. And lastly, in Freak Show, in the Pepper centric episode when they say goodbye for ever. Jessica Lange is one of a kind.

"Whose your favorite?" That's a tough question. I like them all for different reasons. I even have a reason I enjoy Fiona: I like how she acts with the axe man,their daydreamer type of love that's so soft but sad is VERY endearing to me personally. I don't hate Constance cuz she really does display some love for her children. I love Jude cuz of her decline and redemption as well as her grandmotherly spirit with the children. I love Elsa the most cuz she is the star that shines the brightest and she owns it. Regardless what hardship hits her,she brushes it off like it's dirt. Also I love the music and her chemistry with Kathy Bates.

As much as I love Sister Jude, nothing in the AHS universe can ever top Constance Langdon. That accent, those motives, that ingenuity, that Cheshire Cat grin, the unapologetic drinking & smoking and rage bursts and hedonistic affairs, that dual complexity, the way she owns a room not just by walking into it but by leaning against the doorframe and cattily taunting her next target, and ultimately the good intentions buried deep deep deeeeeep down. Constance is just one of the most wonderfully complex multilayered characters ever made in all of TV history, and so utterly compelling in everything she does and says.
