visited again. brilliant and original version. when it comes to passion and fire only Fantasia and Adam could match her among American Idol singers.She has also the dramatic and funny quality. first rate vocalist in full control of her voice. Great entertainment!

Probably a number of reasons. I think the biggest one is that Tamyra didn’t actually release an album until 2004. That was after S2 had aired and S3 was airing. Took too much time for people forgot about her.

I totally agree, Tamyra was one of the most soulful this season (meaning most soulful next to Kelly) but when it comes to that soulful motown voice fantasia totally wins. tamyra's voice was great because it was vulnerable and emotional, perfect for songs like if i were your woman and a house is not a home.

Loved Tamyra's rendition of this song and Fantasia's performance of the same didn't lack either. Both women have incredible voices and great vocal versatility. Fantasia is a more animated performer. Tamyra just has a certain panache and chic about her... After all she was a former Ms. Atlanta winner.
