And can I add, my school has like twenty different options for lunch, but we don’t get trays we have little cardboard boxes (like that you get at a fair sometimes) and the hamburgers are over done, the chicken patties are pink, there’s no soda but a million different options for angry water, and occasionally the taco bar and the counter that changes everyday are good.
@erenthebombjaeger
@erenthebombjaeger 4 жыл бұрын
Chelsea Taylor Same here! We have super thin cardboard trays that hardly hold anything really and different buildings in the quad have slightly different things like F building will have pizza and C will have burgers and spicy chicken patties and then we have something called the Shark tank where there is slightly better options like teriyaki chicken and rice and parfaits but it all still tastes like crap lol that’s why I always go off campus Also you got a taco bar???!!
@chelseataylor6442
@chelseataylor6442 4 жыл бұрын
ErenTheBombJaeger yep! We only have one cafeteria but there’s a taco/nacho bar, burgers, chicken patties, pizza, panini/wrap bar (like subway), pasta or mac n cheese, and two that change everyday but one is kinda like the same general thing (some kind of quesadilla or wrap or sandwich).

Where I live here in Japan, some of the vegetables they serve in their lunches come from vegetables grown by the kids in their school farm. The kids harvest them, and they are taken to the school kitchen where the lunch ladies cook everything from scratch. They don’t use frozen, pre-cooked food. It’s a way to teach kids about growing what they eat. I love that part. ❤️
