Actually all these are not separate from the concept of Brahman. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are just manifestation of the concept of Brahman. When Brahman creates it becomes Brahma, when Brahman preserve it becomes Vishnu and when Brahman does destruction it becomes Shiva. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are just Manifestation of Brahman. It's like the same actor playing different roles. So one can worship Shiva or Vishnu which indirectly connects them to Brahman as they're just manifestation of Brahman. One can worship Brahman directly and this knowledge is called Advaita Vedantic Philosophy. Advaita means "Not Two", in other words everything is "One"... This one is called Brahman or Parabrahman or Paramathma or Ultimate Soul or Ultimate Reality. Our individual souls are just part of this ultimate soul. And this everything is not only human beings but everything in actual sense. This includes all human beings, animals, plants, planets, stars, galaxies, universe, multiple dimensions within the universe, multiverse, beyond multiverse, mass, energy, space, time, zero, infinity and everything in between.

One such unit is a "Maha-Kalpa" which is composed of 36000 such days of Brahma. One Maha-Kalpa is considered as the lifetime of Brahma. There are time units which are larger than one Maha-Kalpa. The largest of them has been calculated as several quadrillions of human years. This precise and massive calculations indicate one important aspect of vedic time system, that, whenever the term "Infinity" has been mentioned in Vedas, it does not indicate something very large. Instead, it appears that the term is meant to refer its literal synonym itself.

And Lord Vishnu, Shiva, Sakti are the embodiments of different aspects of Brahman called as Parabrahman (Supreme divine). Lord Sada Shiva is the root of everything created, who represents the "time" itself as "Kaala", who takes upon the duty of destruction as the "time" himself, both temporary and permanent destruction of the universe after each cycle. Yet all these aspects of Brahman : Maha Vishnu, Sada Shiva and Adi Shakti are eternal, beyond space time, beyond material, beyond the Multiverse, who are beyond the material laws and law of Karma, and are transcendental, pure, full of consciousness, blissful and eternal. The creation occurs in two stages: creation of each universe from the Eternal Maha Vishnu, then within the each universe Lord Brahma is born who starts thecreation of different living beings, five elements, five senses, five sense objects, five sensory perceptions, etc. The Triad Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva will spawn inside each universe when it is created, where Vishnu and Shiva are the divine expansions of the eternal MahaVishnu and Sada Shiva.. where as Brahma is a Mortal (highly exemplified soul given the "position of Brahma" for each universe). Shakti is the divine feminine aspect who literally expands as the universe itself, as Mother Nature called as "prakruti". After the creation of each universe, Lord Maha Vishnu enters each universe as Lord Vishnu to sustain it and then Lord Brahma (Mortal with long life span) is born from a Lotus flower arising out of Lord Vishnu's navel. Then Lord Brahma empowered with the ability of creation after a very long meditation, starts the creation of all aspects of the universe, while Lord Sada Shiva and Goddess Adi Shakti divinely expand into each universe as Lord Shiva and Shakti: the time and energy of material nature to support this creation, while also Lord Maha Vishnu divinely expands into Lord Vishnu in each universe as the pervasive fabric that sustains it all, where everything rests, by entering into each and every atom as the paramatma (all pervasive: literal meaning of 'Vishnu'). The Law of Karma, three modes (gunas) of material nature: Sattva (goodbess), Rajas (passion) and Tamas (ignorance) based on which all if us act according to different situations we are put in due to our past Karma, and how with our free will we fan break free of this cycle of Birth-Death-rebirth as aatman (souls) to achieve Moksha (liberation) to re-establish our connection with the supreme Brahman by practicing Dharma (righteousness/duty/core nature) in the process of Artha and Kama (getting prosperity to achive desires but bound by our Dharma) through spiritual practice of Yoga (connection of aatman and paraBrahman). Goddess Shakti takes up the divine thankless job of maintaining the law of Karma through material modes (gunas) to reform the jivas (all of us living beings) to advance and progress life after life.

"Vishnu" who is being talked in this video is same as "Brahman". In Hinduism different people have their own form of Brahman that they wish to see as the supreme. Some think Vishnu as the supreme while others see Shiva as supreme while some see Devi as supreme who is female form. Who is the supreme actually doesn't really matter since Brahman is formless, Genderless and the ultimate reality. We just want to visualise that supreme in some form nothing else.

Shiv Puran says Shiva is the supreme being, Vishnu Puran says Vishnu is the supreme being. Because of this many hindus get confused and start feeling ashamed of inferior when asked question about hinduism. Just to add clarification regarding the 2:30 min onwards. Lord Vishnu is transcendental and lives on the other side of the Causal ocean. This Causal ocean is a boundary between spiritual world(eternal) and material world (eternal but constantly created and destoyed). Lord Vishnu himself has thousands of forms each with a unique personality. Prominent among them are Krishna, Rama. Each form is a role of the supreme Lord. Just like one man can have many roles and acts differently in each role. But Lord Vishnu being supreme can manifest as many forms as his personalities. Among many of his forms, the form of Maha Vishnu lies on this boundary of Causal ocean. Here he looks at energy(prakriti) which is his own potency and when he agitates Prakriti the universes are created. This is similar to how a man conceives into a woman and egg is formed. Similarly when Maha Vishnu agitates prakriti infinite eggs or Brahmandas or universes are created. Then Lord Vishnu of the Causal ocean (karunodakshayi Vishnu) replicates himself and enters into each of the eggs. Thus he assumes the form of Garbodakshayi Vishnu or the one who enters each egg. Garba refers to womb. He fills half the egg with water and lies on the water. From his navel the Brahma emerges and the stem grows thick to spread across the top half of the universe. Within the stem 14 planetary planes are conveived. 7 are upper planets. 7 lower planets. And earth is the middle of the universe. Further Garbodakshayi Vishnu enters into each atom in the universe and all living beings to run them. He is now called as Kshirodakshayi Vishnu or Paramatma or Super soul who guides all the minute activites of the universe. You can refer to books bvy Stephen Knapp for more information

Vedas are basically older knowledge of medicine, science, politics, commerce, maths etc. Those books do not contain any religious dogmas. Ramayan, Mahabharat and many other books are nothing but histories. What most people do not realize is that the ancient books referred to stars and cosmic formations as sages (personification of cosmic entities), so its not really some sages walking around in certain formations as those books refer to literally but these are actually star and constellation formations described so that the accurate time for occurrence of those events could be ascertained thousands of years later. Similarly most such things which are difficult to understand are personified for easy understanding, but they are actually referring to different scientific concepts. For example the Universes being born and spreading out with exhale of Vishnu and getting sucked in with inhale is practically same as scientific theory of Big Bang and Big Crunch. Also Vishnu resting in a sea in the beginning describes some kind of vast expanse of plasma, protons, electrons, space or energy that existed before it and the consciousness in it before the universe got created. Of course for benefit of non-science knowledgeable people, it is now known through Quantum Physics that Universe cannot exist without a consciousness to experience it and that the consciousness shapes the Universe when experiencing it. So whether you personify that consciousness by giving it the name Vishnu or just call it by some other modern western name the underlying principle stays the same. So a lot of these ancient books are not really religious but knowledge whether science, politics, medicine, history or other knowledge. Multiverse is also now accepted in Physics. Gradually more and more of the research into quantum physics is validating the same things which had already been written in ancient books. There is no need to even talk about how ancient people knew about astronomy calculations and about movement of stars etc thousands upon thousands of years ago and documented all that, things which modern astronomers only "discovered" not too long ago. It was not long ago when most Europeans and Middle Eastern people thought Earth was flat and/or all other things revolved around Earth and the more than one poor soul who said otherwise was persecuted, Giordano Bruno was burnt at stake for "discovering" earth was round and Galileo was put under house arrest for life for "discovering" that earth revolved around sun. All these "scientific discoveries" were made around 500 years ago as per western records and not even accepted by the west for a few more hundred years after these discoveries were made. Of course neither Bruno nor Galileo or so many other scientists have ever given any credit to the original books written thousands of years ago where they may have read all that and possibly regurgitated, simply because all those old books were "Mythology", and not real. The religions were created much later, only around last 2-3000 years ago, even though humans have been around for hundreds of thousands of years, and after the modern religions were created the ones who did not convert to these newly created religions and continued to follow the old books and old beliefs were eventually called as Hindus. The term Hindu was used to refer to people who lived East of River Sindhu even until 1500s as is evident from Babarnama, where he referred to people living East of River Sindhu as Hindus. The ones who did not convert to Buddhism, Islam or Christianity east of River Sindhu were then grouped together by the Muslim or British rulers by the same name as all people from that region were called before, Hindus. The ancient books, Universities all were burnt and destroyed and all the previous the knowledge and history was branded as Hindu Mythology.
