I know my dad crashed at least two and my uncle three them being A. 1969 Chevy Impala sedan with a 327 B. 1975 Oldsmobile 442 Then my uncle's which was A. 1970 Chevy Impala with a 454 truck motor shoved into it B. 67 mustang fastback with a 289 swapped in C. 62 falcon ranchero with the same 289 and a four speed Sadly all of them are destroyed but my uncle still has that 289 that he's working on getting into a 79 mustang coupe

Kinda a working theory that the reason a lot of mustangs (and camaros and chargers) get wrecked is there are a lot of young guy's first rwd, v8 car. 450hp is a lot different, a lot less forgiving, when it's going to the rear wheels rather than the front. Personally, I see in this video a ton of people overreacting and whipping the car around until is slides into something.

Back in 2012 I witnessed a Mustang Driver trying to show off next to me while I was driving my R1 bike returning from a date with my girlfriend. There used to be a series of videos "Fazes of Death". Not to be confused with Faces of death. It showed a 92 Camaro with the front and rear passenger side wheels strapped to an Interstate overpass bridge pillars 40' up in the air. In other words the passenger side door was wrapped around the pillar holding the car up 40'. The traffic had backed up on the road it was running on; and happened up upon them at a high rate of speed. Then jumped the rear end of the car it hit and flew. The car it hit was at least 400' from the overpass... That kinda brings 185mph into perspective. Another banned website Ride to Die dot com was another one that brought realism into the picture. A motorcyclist riding interstate in Oklahoma was doing 150 or so, capped a hill and there in his face was a trucker doing 35 because of mechanical problems. Trucker said he thought he felt a thud, but wasn't sure. When he got to his destination he found the body hanging by the helmet that was lodged at the bottom of the door of the trailer, nothing below the knees left.... Thing was, the site actually showed the pictures of the body hanging...
