if the T-29 has 250mm pen at 6.7 with a turret and mobility, then why is the jagdtiger with very similar pen at 7.0 without a turret and with more reload and less mobility? Also, the 105mm T5E2 was only able to penetrate 135mm of armour at close to 1KM, so idk how the calculations work in the game, but it seems pretty unrealistic.

back in the day when this was top tier it had speed and reload .. they nerfed the reload from 5 to (hold on to something ) 10 seconds. Still it was playable and fun. Now alot of times you get in 10.0 matches with leo2a4 and company. so the kpz/mbt has nothing no speed no ammo no reload no armor good luck. The only thing that this tank does better that 2a4 is neutral steering, it can turn full 360 in 8 seconds. So.. it becomes a 3rd super late last push backup tank because it just doesn't make any sense to play this over the leo2a4, at least when i play that it is decent and no uptiers. All these being said it is STILL the best looking tank in the game. (especially the KPz with that sexy ass and turret).

predattak I think it could make sense as an anti air with its 20mm turret. Early game AA, or ambush tank to defend spawn, and late game assaulter. I haven’t played it, but I would imagine from what I have seen it should be able to do it.

T29 is not OP. You really think its OP because Phly plays 10 games in it and uploads the best 2 or 3? Its not the T29s fault that the German team was retarded on Advance to the Rhine and nobody watched the A/B raod. He could have killed those people just as well in a Tiger 2. I have over 250 games in the T29 and Tiger 2 SLA16. I prefer the Tiger 2. It has an insane rate of fire. 80% of the time in both tanks you are up tiered to 7.7. If you think The T29 is as good at the T54 it always has to fight, I don't know what to tell you.

The new penetration formula is fishy as hell. Every where else I find the calculator for the formula it never asks for explosive mass on top of overall projectile mass. Also it doesn’t account for the twist rate of the rifling, ballistic coefficient, shell density and shell quality which has an effect on pen. Also how does it make any sense that the 128mm lost pen but the 130mm gained an ass ton? They are very similar guns. Also the German 105 on the tiger 2 didn’t gain any pen but this one did??? I smell some bs. The old system was fine. Typical gaijin.

The Legendary Sandwich what propaganda? That’s a poor excuse to completely throw out all historical data. Is it propaganda when America tested captured German guns and came to the same penetration values as the Germans claimed? No it’s not. It’s called cross referencing and either gaijin has gotten to lazy to do that or they want an easy way to alter the formula in there favor so that if a vehicle has a under/over performing round and people pull up multiple documents from different countries conflicting with the formulas values gaijin can just shrug it off and say “the formula says other wise”. That’s what’s fishy about it. I’m fine with a formula for tanks with apfsds that have very little info on there shells due to allot of it still being classified but not for shells we already have plenty of historical information on. You also fail to take into account that the formula doesn’t factor in twist rate, quality of the shell material, the ballistic coefficient, and for some reason gaijin adds the explosive mass on top of the overall mass which already includes the explosive mass. So yea there is some major bs going on. This formula should only be used for very obscure guns and rounds with very little or heavily contradicting data. Math is an amazing tool don’t get me wrong but there are always miscalculations and human error. Plus the math doesn’t always reflect the real life outcome. For example the p.1000 ratte was mathematically estimated to be able to reach a speed of 44kph but we all know if it were built it would never reach that speed and would probably fall apart under its own weight.

I just watch videos like this and laugh where this game went and feel bad forparticular one nation which went down the drain. Seeing a Ferdinand getting obliterated by a 279mm AP from a tank that is just .3 higher in BR.. almost all german WW2 tanks are more or less ineffective and are more just a meme machine but nothing else. Sure you still can get kills with a Tiger 2. But it's not effective as the tanks it now fights, especially with the new idiotic penetration formulas.

Put a maxed crew in it , otherwise you will die constantly and it will become very expensive. With an aced crew and all upgrades, it is very formidable. I've been shot by bigger badder tanks and not been disable so many times in that beast. It's one of my favorites.

hey ple, little trick if you want to turn the tank right after you started to move from a stop position, keep going straight for like a sec or half a sec before turning, let the driver get into a higher gear before turning, that way yoi rotate faster (cuz first gears suck for turning tanks)
