So did Hoovervilles house both those suffering from the depression and the Bonus Army???
@JoczProductions10 жыл бұрын
Hoovervilles was just the nickname people gave to shantytowns that popped up all over America.

What was the federal government's reaction to the depression? Was it that they just did nothing at first?

Technically that guy that bet anyone could get MORE then two words out of Coolidge didn’t lose. Coolidge said two words, “You Lose”. He didn’t say more than two.

It is not called trickle down economics, and has never been called that. Trickle down economics was and is a term that was used a political term from democrats to republicans, as giving money to business owners and hoping it goes down it, seems pretty mean. The actual name is supply side economics, as giving money to the owner would then let them invest with the contrast being demand side which is giving the money to a person who is poor an doesn’t own a business with hopes he will invest and use it TLDR: IT IS NOT CALLED TRICKLE DOWN IT IS SUPPLY SIDE Thank you,
