@jonathandoe23162 жыл бұрын
He also failed too mention that they're punished quicker. Punished more harshly, more often. Forced(tricked) into unfair plea bargains. Make up some of the poorest who come from some of the worse environments in America that were socially engineered over endless generations to keep them as poor self hating and isolated as possible. If the American prison system was remotely fair there'd be Way more white people locked up. Based on this opioid crisis alone there should have been an explosion if white people going to prison. Most black minorities are in jail or prison for drug offenses. While whites use as many drugs or more with a much larger population than racial minorities. Whites also shoot most cops to death, carry the most guns legal or otherwise and carry more powerful weapons. Yet it's the unarmed back facing him black guy who is shot to death. Because the officer feared for his life when white men committ crime. Every white cop who shoots, frames, strangles and lies in court felony. Every prosecutor, judge that railroads or lies in court under oath(which happens almost daily) a crime. All those boy scout leaders, catholic priest with ten of thousands of victims crimes. But suspiciously low arrests they were minorities most would be in prison no matter what laws we needed change. Please stop with your veiled pitiful racism.

Chinese prison definitely sounds worse for sure. That being said this video failed to mention the privately owned jails here in the U.S. that literally send you a bill after you get released. You don't necessarily have to pay it but it counts as an unpaid debt if you don't and it can effect your credit score. It's called a "room and board" or a "pay to stay" fee.
@curiouser-and-curiouser2 жыл бұрын
In Oklahoma, whether it was the DOC or private, people are charged up to $50 a day. Many are being released, owing up to $80,000 that they must make payments on or back in jail they go. That includes court cost & the long list of fees like the bridge & roads fund, & the fee for getting released. This country is supposed to be a republic with the citizens in charge. We've failed due to ignorance because the government ran schools aren't teaching what we need to know.

@beyondalldreams2 жыл бұрын
it depends shat do you mean , for business US is better , and if you want to live in city with a lot of skyscrapers , still the best option is US ( because in china , internet is controlled by goverment ) interms of living quality , there are countries in EU that are the best in the world , but in the other hand in 99% there's not that much going on compared to other countries there are countries like germany or france , when you can't be alone at night , because of immigrants I don't mention eastern europe, because there's not realy a lot going on in general but there's also a poland which seems to be sweet spot , but unfortunetly politics are kind of bad 😂 There's no pefrect country , but in every single one you can live , and you should choose country to live in , by what you want to do

Wrong about the nonviolent drug possession population tho. Nowhere near 50% of state prison inmates are in for violent crimes.
