Im so psyched about this. Most people watch the live version of this and give the video a hard pass. I think the video gives so much to the lyrics. Ed Solo (who is credited with “Additional Mixing/Music Co-Production” in this video) is an British EDM DJ and music producer. You haven’t yet reacted to The Big Push’s cover of Fatboy Slim’s Praise You (which you should add to your list 😊). Ed asked them to learn a Fatboy Slim song to perform at his wedding and they did.

I love that there are several versions of this available as they all bring something different to the table. Of course, as a videographer, you’d be drawn to the visual impact of this version. To hear their voices really shine, they did a live version on Music Crown, singing some of the instrumental too! Both voices are amazing again on the car park version with the reverb there too plus the added fun of the angry car park attendant 😂😂

I love how at the beginning you spoke about the lighting and the hat . Part of me feels like that could have been an artistic choice (We know how Ren and Samuel be paying attention to everything in his videos lol). I say this because it’s the the opening where the song is called “Blind Eyed”, so at the begenning we can’t see his eyes and then he gets up and starts SAaangen and then we can see them. Just a thought haha Shout out to Sam sounding perfect as ever as well! Don’t know if it’s already been said but- Ren was finished busking for the day and he saw Sam on the street with a mic , no amp. Ren offered him his amp and guitar. Sam said that he didn’t play so… Ren played guitar for him and let Sam keep everything he got from that session. It was the beginning of their friendship and more.
