The thing you have to remember about Ren is that he can rap, but he’s not a rapper. He’s simply a musician, that crosses many genres. Music literally saved his life. I think that’s why a lot of his fans defend him so fiercely. We are getting a lot of rap lately because he always wanted to release a hiphop album, but he will always be a street performer at heart, and a talented artist..

Great reaction! The best I shot the sheriff street performance is the one where he is wearing red suspenders. Same with their cover of War Pigs. He does 2 great colabs with Chinchilla also. Chalk Outlines and Forgot to be Me. He even introduced Chinchilla to busking. The UK term for street performance. All these were done before going to Canada. But released over the months he has been away at hospital. He did the song "For Joe" in Canada.

Ren's collaborations are fantastic. I love Ren ft. Eden Nash on "Ocean" and "Humble." More boppin with a reggae or bluesy influence. My favorite street performance has been recc'd here by others: The Big Push's medley titled "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop." A good follow-up is their "War Pigs," which is actually a Black Sabbath mashup with a touch of Rage Against the Machine. Ren/The Big Push always puts a unique touch to their medleys and covers.
