British drinking culture is a bit different to yours, I reckon. By UK law, it's legal for anyone aged 5 years old and up to drink in their home. To purchase booze, you gotta be 18. Beer/wine/cider can be drank in a bar at age 16-17 if you're with an adult and having a meal. A lot of people here messing with alcohol in their mid-teens or earlier. My 12-year-old self could drink my current self (in my 30s) under the table! Bigger picture: not saying it's good, because of brain cells and liver, etc., but that's just how it is. (Some of our laws ain't changed since Medieval times - when it was healthier to drink beer than pure water because the water was...let's say 'unsanitary' haha.)

Bro most people over here drinking as young teenagers even before same as smoking weed/cigarettes. Walk down to Tesco express or co op on the estate and there will be at least 2 groups of kids asking you to buy them drinks or baccy.

It's weird but it is what it is. but u can go to night clubs and buy alchool inside of them with 16 tho. Where i'm from Portugal people in general get drunk for the first time with 15 years old.
