Black Books was created Dylan Moran and Graham Linehan (creator of Father Ted). Tamsin Greig is a joy to watch; she's a terrific comedy and drama actress. She had a major role in "Green Wing" a terrifically funny sitcom set in an English hospital. That's worth a look as well.

YES! Green Wing is my favourite comedy ever! But I can't watch it anymore 😔 I have the DVDs and even the soundtrack... I used to religiously watch an episode (in order) EVERY Friday at 9pm with my Guinness 4pk that my parents would buy for me. Green Wing is unique and a huge part of my childhood. It's a shame my fear of nostalgia and tarnishing memories mean I'll almost certainly never watch it again. Best comedy ever. ❤

It is incredible how much the actor sitting behind Dylan at the bar in the first scene looks like Paul Darrow, but it seems unlikely that they would use a star of Pauls fame to play man in bar.

My favorite was Bernard sidling up to Millwall fans and addressing them. First time I saw it, I laughed so hard I fell out of a chair and just giggled on the floor, too too weak to get back up.
