The bit with the Michael Jackass boxing was because of the skit supposed to be "Blind Boxing" where they boxed with the lights turned off and thats why the screen went black. As for the british Jackass, that would be Dirty Sanchez but if you reacted to that it would definitely have to be heavily edited because what they did was far more violent and disgusting than Jackass. Would love to see your reaction to it though!

You need to watch Dirty Sanchez if you like Jackass. It's the British version but makes Jackass look so tame by comparison. The pranks are more extreme and the banter is waaaay more British. I absolutely loved it and I'm sure you would too!

Bo selecta was wacky and funny in it's day. Leigh Francis who does all the characters did another show called, Celebrity Juice. Leigh hosts that as a another character, Keith Lemon. It is hilarious. He is very funny. Worth a watch.👍

A little fact for you. Avid's surname Merrion is named after a shopping centre in the town of Leeds, West Yorkshire, U.K. The Merrion centre. That is where Lee Francis (Avid) is from.

The screen goes dark as the boxing match starts because it's blind boxing and neither MJ or the woman was blind so they turned the lights off. MJ says, as soon as he hits the woman, "turn the lights on". And it's one guy playing all the characters in this, including the bear. Great Craig David impression!

Yes there are jousting comps in the UK. I took my daughter to watch one at Bolsover castle last year, its a good day out! The falcon from the Craig David sketch, is a reference to 'Kes'. A 1969 film by Barry Hines. Its not a comedy (though there some funny scenes) but it's a classic, and well worth a watch! Keep going with these reaction videos mate 👍

Yes we still have jousting over here, it's not quite as popular as football or rugby but that is because there have been a lot of horse activists/protestors over the last 10 or so years. Still have an attendance of around 40,000 per event and they joust about 2 times a week at local jousting arenas. The 10 best of the year get to go on the trials to become knights of the round table. I never did horse riding at school, I was more into the archery and the double edge blade fighting personally but would have loved to join in with the school jousts, still great to watch and some fond memories, I'm sure people will agree.

Leigh Francis is the guy who plays Avid Merrion and most of the masked characters, and it's also him playing the bear. Leigh Francis has continued on with his career as portraying Keith Lemon and, on the odd occasion, had brought back some masked characters in cameos on his Celebrity Juice show. Bo Selecta, which ran for 3 seasons with a few specials one including Bo' in the USA. Are you planning to do more of these? There is a lot more whackiness and silliness all the way through with new characters included.

The thing with Kes comes from a book called A Kestrel For A Knave (adapted into a movie called Kes) about a young boy in a small northern English town. With no real friends, a mother with no time for him and half-brother who resents him, he ends up adopting a Kestrel and looking after it. It's quite a sad book but has a strong association with the kind of accents used on this show, especially for Craig David. Also it's such crap that the show ruined his career. He had already been forgotten, if anything it revived him a bit.

The British version of Jackass was called Dirty Sanchez. They were more hardcore than Jackass. One time I did the Gumball Rally and both the Jackass crew and Dirty Sanchez crew were both there doing it aswell. Dirty Sanchez kept challenging the Jackass crew but they wanted none of it. Dirty Sanchez ended up stealing Bam Mageras Lamborghini and thrashing it to bits. They were too much for the Jackass lads.

Kes is a famous film from the 1960s. Very working class, very Yorkshire. Kes in the film and Kes here are kestrels. A native bitd of prey. The football match from Kes the film is probably on YT. Very funny.

Craig David was always my favourite, he had a small amount of fame in the late 90s & early 00s as a garage musician, but he always made the mistake of singing his own name during his tracks. So the character on Bo Selecta sings his own name at every opportunity. The two other traits that Bo Selecta portrayed him to have are; 1) he has a pet kestrel called “Kes”, which is nod to the 1960s movie of the same name where a young boy from Morley near Leeds adopts a Kestrel and trains it, calling it “Kes”. 2) for some reason on Bo Selecta, Craig David has a bladder problem and is often depicted with a colostomy bag full of yellow liquid, again no earthly purpose for this but funny as fuck.
