😂 reminded me of my great, great uncle Thomas who was 97 when I was 18. Saw me at my granny’s birthday party and said (when he smelled my aftershave) “is that poof juice yer wearin’?”. This was a few months before I came out! 😂😂

As a gay man, I have interacted with guys like this before and some of them genuinely get this flustered because they're terrified of coming across as homophobic, to the point that I've literally had to stop them, tell them to calm down, and assure them that they can just be themselves

Another one here too. But you also can't reassure them too much lest they think you're "one of the good ones". I personally laugh at a "homophobic" joke, provided it was witty, well crafted or not just thinly veiled hatred lol.

Personally I think if someone gets offended by a comedian then maybe they shouldn’t watch comedians as they make their money offending and taking the piss out of people.

Great sketch show. I think the last one they did was about ten years ago and it's incredible what they got away with . A lot of the sketches wouldn't be allowed today . Needless to say still bloody funny.😂😂

This is my dad caricatured! Not too long after I was outed (thnx sis) he went with my mum to a work event. In a bid to prove he isn't homophobic he told a gay vouple there rhat he would *definitely* have them round gor dinner, and he got up and fanced with them 😂😂😂 Some are genuinely hate filled, others just don't know ehat to fo or say, and given the oversensitive and always agitated vpices you hear irl and online, I do not hold that against those people too much.
