I don’t know what the comments on the sound are about, but I rewatched this to see if there was any sound problems. The sound seems to be working fine. The sound from the show actually seems to be louder than my voice for most of the video. If there are any specific points of the reaction where the sound is off, let me know.

It seems to be working for the majority of people. For some people the sound of the Peep show clips is virtually silent whilst you sound fine. Some people are saying when they plug headphones in the peep show part comes out in one ear if that helps? It worked fine on my laptop so might be a phone issue. Absolutely loving watching Peep show along with you btw

It seems to be a balancing issue. All of the speech from the show footage seems to be using the right channel, while the background noise is using both. It makes it sound really weird on my big speakers but it's fine on my phone. I guess anyone without a proper stereo speaker setup might have issues. But given that your talking is playing out correctly I'm going to say the issue is with the Peep Show video file rather than how you've exported your reaction.

After he died yeah , but in the late 90s/early 2000s especially he became a bit over exposed and definitely wasn't universally liked. Happens to many especially over the top comedic actors, Jim Carey had a similar arc but without the longevity of Robin Williams.

Another series finished. I'm so excited for you to see the rest. The next big change is the budget. Its jumps massively regarding cameras etc👍 Also, you make the point about nothing good happening. That's the difference between US and UK shows. US always comes together at the end. UK is the opposite. There are a few exceptions (certain Only Fools episodes for example). But even UK films generally have a positive ending, like Inbetweeners.

I'm so excited for season 3, one of the best, you're in for some surprises and you'll love it. There's nothing wrong with rooting for the characters, we all do to some extent. Brits are often just more accepting of shit being thrown at characters I find, whereas Americans prefer happy endings. The thing is it's a comedy and if things work out too nicely then it loses its funniness. They do get their way sometimes like Jez dreamed of marrying Nancy and he did, but it's funnier if they get married but end up in a husk of a relationship.

Ahh boomer, just got home from the doctors. suffered with RA since I was a teen. 12 years later just got the referral to a specialist and an ongoing sick note, as it riddles all my joints. Don't worry, that's good news. I finally don't have to break my back, or toes, or knees.. doing manual labour just to scrape by ever again. Just got home, big bag of crisps and half an hour of king boomer? maybe one of the best days of my life. Looking forward to this!

It's a shame the queen doesn't seem to enjoy the humour of these. The first 2 seasons don't reflect just how brilliant the overall series gets. Season 3 onward is when the writing gets razor sharp, and Super Hans and Johnson all get classic scenes. Try to get the queen back into it moving forward with season 3. I think she'll love it.

robin williams was a part of my childhood and also a global icon by the 2000s, i think it may have been a niche thing to hate him and throw it in the script as 1. he was alive back then so hating someone alive doesn't feel bad at all, especially when not even knowing the circumstances of one's death/passing would come to be 2. he was so popular that hating him made you feel like the only one hating him perhaps making it feel okay to hate him and 3. it's somewhat edgy to hate global icons known for being near-perfect without much justification, especially back then (my guess)

Couple of phrases you may not have: Mrs. palm & her 5 lovely daughters; 5 knuckle shuffle. I'll leave you to guess at their import. I once got ranted at by a (female) pupil which ended with the memorable phrase (stolen from The Young Ones I think) "so up yours, ugly!!" Which made me smile. Barry Humphries has a whole phrasebook of Aussie sayings which is highly comical. Probably available somewhere on t'internet I imagine.

The sound issue only affects a few people because L&R channels are out of phase so cancelling out for those few of us with weird set ups where L&R are combined into a mono input - I just unplugged either L or R and BOOM, sound came back to normal. So long as there's nothing hard L or hard R, which is unlikely, then it's not a problem. Probably accidentally recorded that way by whoever uploaded the copy you used. MIGHT have done it to counter copyright issues, maybe? More likely a phase change button accidentally pressed on their mixer. Unlikely to be your problem unless same issue happens on your next vid too.

All peep shows seasons after one (which was just good) are brilliant but I think I speak for everyone here when I say the seasons with Johnson as a recurring character (I think there's just two of or three of them I can't remember) will always be the best.

I never thought Williams was a "brilliant"actor, but obviously good at certain things which were probably written for him. Many of his earlier films seemed to have a scene where he did this almost weepy kind of begging/pathetic thing. His comedy style just became overexposed, so he wasn't really doing anything "new", just kind of him being him, which is fine but audiences know what to expect after a while. Peep Show is basically about what people are really thinking vs how they act, what they want and what happens when they get it - often not what they expect but then fate steps in to stamp on someones bollocks for good measure. Jeremy is a sociopath and Mark is just insecure. If they were ever happy the show would end.

Reason why bad things always happen to characters in UK comedy series, cause we love realism, pessimism and self deprecation. In real life ya rarely get what you want and don't we know it over here.
