If you really wa t to see John's power you need to check out his version of "When the war is over" from his "Last Time" concert. John is 50ish in this, and the emotion he puts into this song is literally breathtaking. You will be blown away by his performance.

It is a beautiful song, and so real, he really hated being away from his family when touring the country. It's one of the reasons he didn't bother striving for international success. He has been well known here since a teenager in the 60's, but didn't even really reach super stardom here until the mid 80's, by which time he was married with kids and simply didn't want to be away for so long. He is an amazing person as well as performer. Great reaction, as always. ❤

Good to see you back and just loved your reaction and comments on this beautiful ballad. This song was all about being on tour and apart from his wife Jill. I think the words Please don’t hang up on me there’s nothing else I know how to do, say it all. John puts his soul and energy into everything he sings. As well as that he’s technically perfect, which makes him the most amazing singer on the planet. One reaction I’d like to see is When the War is over, live The last time, 2003. John’s around 54 here and still singing as great as ever.😊

It was a magical night, the likes of I'll never see again lol

We were so very lucky to witness such talent and musical greatness. At the moment though, I'm sending half my healing vibes in Jimmy Barnes direction, been sending them to John for the last few months, Jimmy's turn now --- gotta say, I really don't like 2022, lost Judith duram, lost Archie Roach, lost Olivie NJ, Farnsey with jaw cancer and now Jimmy with back and hip surgery, it's all been a bit too much this year, hurry up 2023 and bring better things our way please - enough of the bad crap already lol Oh, and I was 24 lol
