SOS is the song that introduced Dimash to the world and opened many great opportunities and collaborations for him. This song comes from the famous 1978 Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania', which is well known in French-speaking countries, and is a pretty difficult song to sing. In 2017 Dimash received a wild card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant ever at 22 years old and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part in this competition. Although well-known and respected in his homeland Kazakhstan, nobody in China knew or heard about Dimash before, but with his first song, SOS, Dimash shocked the audience and captured the hearts of over 600 million of viewers overnight, and the rest is history as the saying goes.

Dimash does the 'mind blowing'🤯 every time someone meets the GOAT for the first time. Many become Dimashified on the first song. Some it takes a couple more. The reason Dimash has so MANY devoted fans, called Dears, is that he's not just talented, good looking, amazing while performing, he's also possibly the greatest human. Not kidding. If you go down the rabbit hole and learn about who he is as a human then you'll understand I'm not really kidding. If there was a Best Human Award, Dimash would win. I'm just going to tease you with that. Stranger and Olympico would be good second choices but there's really so many to choose that you can't NOT have your jaw dropped and your mind blown a little bit further away from reality.

Thank you for your wonderful reaction👍. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and he currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1(B0) - whistle D8 off the piano) At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert). But many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was amazing. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Please react to Sinful Passion next. And watch the videos till the end and you will see how kind and lovely he is. And I always recommend turning on the subtitles, if available. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. Dimash is the greatest singer out there. From Kazakhstan but has just moved (temporarily) to the US to study Film Directing. He already has a Bachelors, Masters and had just completed his Doctoral studies and Thesis. He is athletic (red belt in Taekwondo, Horseback riding in the mountains of Kazakhstan, he is a swimmer, but mostly underwater to keep his breath control top knotch. He is, like many Kazak's, Eurasian and is tall at 6'3" and has friends who are taller than he is. I discovered him almost 7 years ago and have followed him since then. Just the tip of the iceberg with Dimash. You will have the most amazing time doing Dimash because the music is beautiful but also shocking because there is no end to his range. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with now English becoming a fast third. However, he has sang in up to 15 languages at this point. He composes music, he sings, dances, raps , acts and plays multiple instruments. Top that off with him being very humble and appreciative always of his fans as well as always so respectful and kind and you have an amazing artist. Please check out Stranger by Dimash. Now he gets blocked a lot! So as sad as it is you will be wise to put a filter on the videos. Stranger is in English. If you want to see his heart, do his latest MV, The Story of One Sky. He composed the music, (lyrics by someone else) he wrote the script , sang the entire song (seems like many people) and is one of the main actors. It is about war and the need for peace between all people, religions etc. It is intense.

I discovered his music two years ago through another reaction channel and it's completely changed the way I view music. This performance was from the digital show he put out during the pandemic. He did four new songs on it besides his usual songs. New costumes, dance routines etc. he gave everything to it even though it was an empty theatre. The opening number was called Ogni Pietra and is in Italian, quite operatic. My favourite song from him is called Stranger from New Wave 2021 not the digital show, and is in English.

Dimash's voice is amazingly beautiful and rich no matter in what register he sings. The main thing about him is not even his range, or perfect transitions between registers or amazing vocal techniques in multiple genres, but the way he uses all those as tools to tell a story and take us on an emotional journey. He is my soul healer since I discovered him 4 years ago. He combines great talent with hard work and practice since a very young age, including continuous studies in the fields of both classical and contemporary vocals, composition and musicology (he is in the middle of his PhD mow). In addition he is a polite, humble, kind, and dedicated soul.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. He is a singular individual. There is simply no other human with this voice and talent. His voice/range, his ability to sing in languages he does not (fluently) speak himself (German, French, Italian and a few more aside of his own language. He originates from Kazakhstan). Impressive in any way. The rabbit hole of his is quite impressive and you definitely want to check out his version of The Love of Tired Swans. It is beautiful and absolutely mindbogglingly impressive.

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, this song was in French (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin). He plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZbin channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for his most recent song and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting.
