I get what your saying and to a large extent I agree. An added component though is for years now they've been trying to cost cut what with having a Tory government that has been much more on their backs. And that isn't bringing politics into it it is simply the truth, after all it wasn't Labour but again an earlier to now Tory administration that basically forced the BBC to take on paying the tv licence for the over 75 age group as part of the then charter renewal that was put through. Again I get it that the BBC just like any other huge entity just like then and as a permanent practice should always use its financial resources well and not be wasteful but, what Osbourne did back then with in effect outsourcing the governments responsibilities onto the then BBC instead would begin the trail going right up till now where the BBC's resources have become tighter and tighter rather then more breathing room they had certainly in other decades. Which we should all want and I will never understand why for some including certain Tory mp's/ governments they can't see how short sighted it is not to have the BBC the nations state broadcaster in a healthy position. There are many peoples of the globe who would dearly love to have what we have of a state broadcaster that has its own voice rather than akin to North Korea or somewhere like it told what to say otherwise they are taken off air, or worse! The BBC isn't perfect, but then again these days for some including those with a pre-determined agenda it is convenient to throw at it the fault for anything and everything. It is sad that they made certain decisions again reasons given to make savings but for me at the time the wrong things chosen, such as when was decided to get rid of Television centre with the BBC logo on that iconic building disappearing forever. That decision was purely done as said on the grounds of reacting to the funding shortfall even then, but it was so the wrong decision especially when the BBC are leasing back some of it to this very day. Anyhow could say tons more on that alone but time to end.

5:00 Obviously not Martine Croxall's fault. She is an extremely seasoned journalist/presenter and has been a foremost BBC News anchor for well over 20 yrs. Thing is the camera she sits down to present to is absolutely the normal camera used at the beginning. So not only did they start off with a different camera angle to the _very occasionally_ used different 'standing up' angle, but they also used another _very occasionally_ used camera angle instead! And it's not like she gets into the studio and just 'decides' on her own where to be!

Depending on the damage to the car, you would generally keep driving and find a spot to park together and swap insurance details. The beautiful thing here is the news caught who was at fault and it was definately the blue car considering the black car had stopped. As the road is narrow you'll create a jam and angry people. Obviously if the crash had caused serious injuries then you wouldn't move the cars. Also BBC news the cameras are all automated, they're robots instead of proper camera men. So they're told where to stand and the robot cameras do the rest. Obviously someone didn't get the memo when they go live.
