One of the funniest chants I have heard was at a Coventry v Birmingham game. Just a bit of background information. Coventry ended up without a stadium for a few years so one year they played all their home games at Birmingham's stadium. One match they had to play a home match against Birmingham. This meant that Birmingham were the away team on their own ground! So the Coventry fans sat in the home seats and the Birmingham fans sat in the away seats in their own stadium! A chant from Birmingham fans 'Who's the wanker in my seat'.

Its not a religion to say we want to keep our free healthcare and don't want a privatised system like in America where thousands die through lack of funding for healthcare, and half a million go bankrupt because of it every year. You're talking absolute nonsense that's being spread by fascist far right media in the UK like Nigel Fhurage and GammonBNews, in an effort to privatise so they can make billions at the expense of normal citizens suffering. I've watched so many American reactions to this video and always laugh at how shocked they are but I've never laughed this much at ANY video 🤣 Your laughter is so contagious. If you haven't been to the UK, you would absolutely love our drinking culture. Come in match season, you'll love it. Britain is a miserable place but so we make our own fun. It's almost impossible for us to have an interaction or conversation without sarcasm or taking the piss one way or another, usually at ourselves. If someone is taking the piss out of you, usually it means they like you. The closer people are, the more brutal the insults are. Other reactions I've seen, people are concerned about the players "feelings"🙄 saying that it's cruel and would throw them off. ...well yeah, that is the point. But even the players themselves know it's 99% banter, hence the goalie clapping after being called a fatty for 90 minutes. It's all just fun at the end of the day, we don't need entertainment to laugh, we make it ourselves and it's probably the only thing I am proud of as a Brit, our sense of humour is shared up and down the land and the fun never stops. Oh and I subscribed👍 Which I NEVER do. So there's that.

There is no diplomatic way to describe Jimmy Saville. He was a DJ and tv personality who appeared to be a hero, raising millions for charities for the disabled and ill. After his death it became well known and not disputed that his charity work was all to give him access to physically and mentally disabled people and indeed morgues so he could engage in his sexual deviances.

Yeah. I work in one of the hospitals that he used to visit to 'help out'. Although all this stuff came out years before I started I actually met one of the nurses who'd worked in the wards that he used to visit and apparently a lot of the nursing staff had suspicions about him. Obviously they couldn't prove anything but she said they never left him alone with anybody after a couple of 'incidents' (she never discussed exactly what happened). Apparently he used to drop in and work with the porter team who basically move patients (living or dead) and equipment 'round the hospital which is how he manged to get into places like the morgue.

Haha yes you answered your own questions ! The steward looked like Boris Johnson.. The plant pot song came about because apparently the game was so boring the fans decided to entertain themselves ! I needn't mention Adam Johnson or Jimmy Saville , everyone else here has commented and you can do your own research 😉 Love your reactions, you were very quick to recognise the well known tunes the fans use but change the words.. we are indeed very creative, very 'savage' (as you put it) and very rude.. But as someone already commented, the football stadiums are one of the last places for free speech!.. and it is also modern-day war-fare.. some teams have a distaste for each other, just because our little island is so compact and just from town to another there is tension.. Personally I think making up creative chants is more healthy than throwing a punch or pulling out a knife or gun 🤷🏽‍♀️ There is still violence sometimes, but more often than not it is the chants that show the "battle" .. Haha .......been binging on American's reactions all throughout the pandemic.. and I love how hard you laugh 🤣👍

2 things you should know, 1. these chants and many more go on at 100s of games every week in england, these are some but not even close to the best chants you could possibly see and 2. football (soccer) fans in england follow their team until the absolute end, if their club hasnt gone bankrupt then they will support them basically, no matter how good or shit they are. its more important than religion, its a warrior nation acting out its instincts on a peaceful playing field , its tribal, its animalistic and its fucking great fun. WELCOME TO ENGLAND!!!

Bit of context, while back the Togo team coach travelling for an international tournament was shot at by gunmen in Africa, political stuff I would imagine, but anyway people on the coach died as far as I remember, fast forward a few months to the domestic season. Sky TV heavily influence kick off times in the U.K. to suit their schedule. That means that fans sometimes have to travel across the country in the early hours of the morning to get to a 12 noon kick off (rather than the usual 3pm) just because Sky want to show the game. This partially ruins the away game experience for a lot of fans who have their travel plans ruined at pretty short notice.
