She had some "crack" about her, and forthwith pulled her jumper up. ( Can't remember where it was.) We need this humour in "stadia", always. The "Fire Drill" song is very often sung about 15 or 20 minutes before the end of the game when the home team is losing and their fans start leaving to avoid the crush at the gates or the local station. The fans of the visiting team are often "penned" in their section until 15 or 20 minutes after then end of the match to avoid the two sets of fans meeting in crowded areas where trouble can start. Also, it's considered "disloyal" to leave before the end.

One of the best things about supporting your team (mine is Newcastle United) is going to an away match it is a culture of its own. You drink a brewery on the way down, end up in a pub once to get to the city you are playing in and drink more there, you are with like minded folks, you end up having a laugh with your pals and depending on how drunk you are it can lead to some things happening that will end up on a video that goes on the internet which American people end up reacting to 🤣🤣 then on the way back home (pending how far you go) you drink some more and roll through the front door late at night People can make friends for life from this 🤣🤣🤣 PS the chant about shagging my wife is about a player called Fabricio Coloccini he was one of our best defenders when he played for Newcastle United he even stuck by us when we got relegated and led us to promotion at the first time of asking the following season so he is loved by us for how good he was of a player but also the loyalty he gave.

One of my favourite ever chants that was made up quickly was when my team Plymouth Argyle played QPR (Queens Park Rangers) and they had a player called Marc Bircham who had dyed blue stripes into his hair.... us argyle fans started singing "He's got smurf sh!t in his hair, he's got smurf sh!t in his hair". With the Chant you liked so much “If you’re watching on the telly you’re a cünt”; all of the chants follow pretty much the same tunes each time so when a group of people start one chant, it can spread across the stadium in _seconds._ A lot of the Premier League games are broadcast live during the day, the entire stadium is Mic’d up and it’s nigh on impossible to filter out the crowd noise from everything else. An entire stadium singing the exact same thing is very loud and very clear. If you’re watching the football at home, you’ll hear it clear as day…”If you’re watching on the Telly, you’re a cünt!”

If it helps, there four main reason for singing Celebration- you've scored a goal, saved a penalty, won a game Self Deprecation- part of British culture and humour to take the piss out of ourselves ("you're nothing special, we lose every week") continually Antagonism- to vent and take the piss out of anything to do with the opposition- their fans, their players, their club, their ground, their manager, their city/town. Anything we don't like about them, we'll let them know. Occasionally we just vent at anything in general (ie Sky TV) Boredom- the game is dull, we're losing heavily so we just have a laugh (ie "there's a plant pot on their head" which I think was Barnsley fans or "lets pretend we scored a goal") Some are spontaneous, some are obvious and some are pre-planned. All part of a day out watching your team.

Many chants originate from fans challenging each other to "give us a song" in the pubs before the game or on coaches when travelling to away games. The better ones then being repeated in the stadiums and catching on as others pick up the words from those around them.

I watch MLS every week from here in the UK. I've seen it's growth since 1996. It's true - when the away team scores, there camera has trouble focussing in on the 14 jubilant people supporting the away team at the top corner of the stadium! Although - it is getting better - at least 200 away supporters, even when the likes of LA Galaxy play New York City FC these days.

If you can't get to the actual game the next best thing for a good atmosphere is the pub to watch the big games, it's absolutely brilliant until the emotions start and the fighting starts with both sets of fans.

Balotelli is an absolute star, he's gone around some of the most deprived areas giving away cash. He gave away a Bentley, he gave £1000 to a homeless man, another time he dressed as Santa and drove around giving cash to people on the street. I've watched a couple of your vids and you guys are really chill and likeable, keep doing what your doing 👍 Also you look like a guy who is into his sports, if so you might be interested in reacting to a vid about football ultras. These guys take being a football fan to a whole new level and the level of dedication they have is pretty wild. Think there's a vid called "ultras our way of life", check it out if you fancy it.

Great reaction guys. I don't know if anyone's mentioned the dick one, but one of those teams has a manager called Dick... My favourite chant has to be after Scottish goalkeeper Andy Goram was diagnosed with schizophrenia, the next match he played in they're chanting "There's only two Andy Goram's". Absolute class that one!

The red and white shirts and the accent for the big dick, I'm guessing Sunderland AFC in 2015, also the team the Adam Johnson chants were aimed at during one of the other videos

I moved to Sheffield for several months before Covid hit. Up the road a bit, perhaps a ten minute walk or so, was a stadium - I think it was average or smaller, but you knew there was a match on - not because of cars everywhere or the scores of people walking up; it was the noise. That crowd singing I heard from my dorm room lol

Some of these are quite tame, the atmosphere at derbies can be crazy!!. The Manchester derby,North london derby, West ham v Millwall,Birmingham v Villa, Derby v Forest etc...etc... can all get really loud and often need heavy policing! I've been to about 60 premier league games and the chants often come out of nowhere and are quite spontaneous.

But of context to the Balotelli one “Wallet full of cash” He got pulled over by the cops and when asked why he had so much money on his person, he replied “It’s my walking around money” the second one “He’s good at darts” there was a story were he was throwing darts at the academy players at their training complex 😂😂😂

In case your wondering how all the crowd know to sing the same songs in the same way , there are perhaps half a dozen basic chant tunes which underly most songs . So the fans know the music it’s just the words that change . Quite a few come from fan forums , some from literally someone in a pub before the game coming up with words or literally hearing the chant for the first time by a group nearby and because you already know the basic tune being able to join in after first hearing it once… great feeling of inclusivity.. well for your team obviously , clearly not if it’s directed AT you like … “ When your sat in row Z and the ball hits your head.. that’s Zamora!! “ Sang to the Dean Martin tune … that’s amore

By the way, We do not prepare chants, one person makes it up, the rest join in. I was at football on Saturday and someone was flicking fingers (putting their middle finger up in case you don't know) and what started? "WHOS THE SLAPPER IN THE CROCS? WHOS THE SLAPPER IN THE CROCS?" football is amazing and I am proud of my country. Also, about lennel john-lewis there is a major British shop company called John lewis

In England they got a formula so the formula is something recognizable, but then someone can chip in with something, and if it’s catchy enough, people just go with it.
