I find Graham Norton seems to get the best out his guests, the perfect blend of prompting stories and actually giving them time to tell them and just laugh at each other.

I think a big part of the secret of the success is that he brings out all the guests at the same time which means that they kind of compete with each other for screen time and if one of them gets boring he can talk to one of the other ones. Also they give all the celebrities whatever alcohol they want to drink and keep them topped up all the way through the show.

The appeal of them is that there literally are hundreds of thousands of women who want to grow up just like that, hooking up with men who are the real stars, dating and marrying someone important so they can become something by osmosis. They have no real skills other than being someone that real talent wants to sleep with. high priced call girls.

His TOWIE accent was spot on. Understated if anything. I know. I lived in NE London for many years, perilously close to TOWIEland (which is set between three towns, all close by London proper). I commuted out to work in Essex for 30 years so am very familiar with it all.

This is not a panel show, it's a talk show. Panel shows are for celebrities to solve problems and gain points. Graham Norton is the only one that has all his guests on together. It works well with him. James Cordon tried it in the US but it wasn't the same.

You know what ? I like you, because you are so down to earth and don't take yourself seriously and are not up your own arse and you're also not loud and brash like so many other Americans. If you didn't have an American accent I might have thought you were British👍😂. As for Graham, he always brings the best out of people because, no matter who they are, whether they are a big film star or pop star or just an ordinary member of the public, he makes them relax and has a laugh with them and takes the piss out of everyone. He is my favourite talk show host.

The Graham Norton Show just started it's 31st season! I've been watching from the beginning. It does play on BBC America a week Fter it airs in the UK. He did bring the show to the states years ago but it flopped. The US is way too strict with censorship (yet the politicians and right wing conservatives get butt hurt and call the wrong people "Woke") He could not get away with half the stuff he does across the pond. I think it's the best talk show ever.

J.P.S you have great genetics passed down from your parents.. You age like a fine wine! Glad you had a good time here in the U.K and I hope you get to experience more and more over the years… Our T.V has declined over the years I will be honest… Try watching some older T.V shows from the 90’s at some point.. Shows like Gladiators, Brian conelly, Nole Edmonds house party, Big Break, Bullseye, You Bet, the big breakfast.. That’s just to name a few… I grew up on those shows as a child and still vividly remember them, they brought so much joy to the people of Britain it’s unreal.. The T.V nowadays is trash compared to 90’s television.. The T.V now is more concerned with world affairs rather than strictly entertainment.. Just something to consider my man.. 👊🏻👍🏻

You may not know this but when Graham first did his late night show it was ver gay it was a mixed audience but graham has blamed down a fair bit but it was so good it went mainstream. He had a couple of regular old ladies who attended in the audience but I think time took care of them sadly. But grahams acting in father Ted you may not know about was excellent.
