Guy’s one of the best singer songwriters on the planet, no question. He’s written some really great songs. Choir, was written for a musician friend who committed suicide. Standing with you was about a friend going through depression. Guy represented Australia at Eurovision with a song he wrote called Tonight again. A little more up-tempo showing a different side to him. I hope you get to do more Guy reactions, his voice is exceptional and the lyrics to his songs are very moving and relatable.❤️

Great reaction. He does a great live version of this for a radio station too. Really shows how good he is. Check him out performing ‘Climb Every Mountain’ on Australian Idol too. It’s when everyone stood up and realised how good he is.

There is a really good 'live' performance he did at a radio studio. A little background on the reason he wrote this song. Last year was a horror year in one way for Guy as he finally had his ex manager brought to trial for embezzling over a million $...Guy won and his ex manager was sentenced to 4 years. The saddest part for Guy was that he thought of him as a trusted friend and their families were friends too. You were correct to say that he writes about 'life' .

I always prefer Guy's live versions of his songs, the ones where he's singing at home studio or at a radio station. His voice sounds even better live than in the official album version.

@@CVTECK1 We have a small population, just 26 million, and therefore it's tough for artists to get gigs. Most Australian top artists have come up through clubs and pubs with live audiences and no musical "tricks" to disguise their voices. They have to be pitch perfect, and great stage performers with special voices to make it. They come alive with an audience.
