When you do watch some of the full episodes of GN, you'll see that most guests are promoting their own things and sometimes two or three will be together along with one or two other solo project actors or artists. He likes to jump around the couch getting stories like these from each artist, so he can laugh and get other celebs to laugh too. He is much less about making a celeb talk about themselves and more about making it feel like you are sitting in on a convo happening at a house party. It makes them all feel so comfortable being silly and real.

Couple of thoughts … Thanks for the focus on women. I have watched the original version of The Women from 1939, which I loved, but haven’t seen the remake. Actresses used to be a major force in early Hollywood, but I couldn’t pinpoint for you when that changed. Maybe with the gritty emphasis of the ‘70s? It seems like after that, with some exceptions, women were much more prevalent in supporting roles, I.e. the chick or the Mom. … Love Carol Burnett and always will. My sister once heard her young daughter laughing hysterically watching TV and found her watching reruns of the Carol Burnett show … The time in this reaction flew by for me too … If you haven’t seen it, and it’s probably on Britbox, check out the Sherlock Holmes series with Benedict Cumberbatch (love that name) and Martin Freeman. Quality series all around. … Wow, too much. Peace …Oops, I lied. Looking forward to more Game of Thrones, and you may want to put Peaky Blinders on your list of possibilities. Cillian Murphy is so good.

The film The Women you spoke of was a remake of a 1939 movie starring Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell and other fabulous women. Also written by women, I believe. Oh 100% agree- you are right of course about Shepherd's Pie vs Cottage Pie- no disputes here. But they were playing Friends trivia, and the question that Sir Ian posed was, "How did Rachel ruin the British Trifle?" And the way that the line was written and delivered by Aniston in the episode is, "I wasn't supposed to put beef in the trifle!" So technically, she ruined it by putting in beef, which of course is doubly wrong because beef doesn't go in trifle, nor (to your point) does it go in Shepherd's Pie ;) Sorry, I"m realizing now that I sound like a nerd.

@@sarahealey1780 Thanks! Yeah this is also why I put the link to the original without my commentary in the description. I realize these types of reactions aren’t always everyone’s cup o’ tea ;)

@DavidvsFilm well I am here for it, I love your reactions, I have seen the show. I know what I thought and felt when I watched, and now I want to hear what you think 🤔 😊 👍

I found it really annoying, as it was hard to hear what was being said on GN, when you kept speaking over the video. Pause it, talk, go back to the video.

Thanks for the feedback! It's a tough needle to thread because then I get criticism for pausing the video, but I'm sure I can find the right rhythm eventually ;)
