KARD is so underrated! Their music is quite latin based because they have quite a big latin fanbase. I recommend checking out Bomb Bomb, it's the song that got me into them and it seems like your taste! Excited to follow your journey in becoming a hidden kard

KARD it’s the only co-Ed group in the insustry right now, and they are so good, just have a lot of talent. There does exist co-ed groups out there but KARD is definitely the most well-known and successful one out there. And yet they're still so unknown in Korea 🥲🥲 You can watch their full covers of Mi Gente and Taki Taki, as well as listen to their song Dimelo to get a feel for their Spanish.

@@HIM_066xMusicReactions Yeah unfortunately there's a reason co-ed groups don't gain popularity, especially in Korea. But KARD came in instantly with a Latin sound and grew HUGE in South America which kept them afloat. But now they're growing!!

their fandom is strong in latin america for a reason. the member of kard, bm, is fluent in spanish and portuguese and grew up in brazil at one point. if i recall correctly, his dad is also brazilian. EDIT: bm never lived in brazil, his dad did, i am just a silly goose

he didn't lived in Brazil BM was born and raised in LA, only his dad family lived in Brazil ^^ his cousins can speak portuguese but he don't and his mother is fluent in spanish

Recently implies in the last few months or even last few years. KARD has had a Latin sound since their beginning, almost 8 years ago. Which is not considered recent or before KARD. But some people see recent differently so 🤣 But I've heard of other groups playing with the Latin sound. I might be misremembering but I heard EXO did? And I think I heard about Super Junior as well.

Everyone describes KARD in this way and they gained popularity in South America much quicker than they did in Korea. "The group was also noted for their reggaetón and moombahton styling that resonated with international K-pop fans, which was stated by Billboard to be one of the primary reasons why they were able to tour throughout North and South America even prior to releasing their first mini-album."
