I recommend watching Ninh Explain the difference between rugby union and rugby league. In short Rugby union is what you may know and is played in US colleges. Rugby League (what is coming to Vegas) kind of mashes Rugby Union and American Football and is much easier to watch and explain to an American audience.

That is why rugby league is way better than NFL, as it explains every player is used in offence and defence as a team and half the players aren’t just blockers. As well as between each tackle you just do the play the ball and start again instead of waiting through 5 minutes of ads for them to set up again all the time.

They're doing this every year for 5 years. You've gotta see 1 NRL game live in your life, but, to be honest, rugby league is better to watch on tv (as evidenced by crowd sizes at games). Conversely, AFL/ Aussie Rules is better to watch live than on tv.

@@g3nesisprime183 Yes, but if you aren't a club fan of the 2 team playing, tv is 1000x better to enjoy the game in league. You get to be in the action rather than straining to see the other end, or judge a forward pass. Plus, in league, most of the action fits perfectly on the screen, whereas in AFL across the entire field, every player is constantly involved in a tussle with their marker. You get my point? I'm not ragging on league, but attendance numbers don't lie. Maybe 10,000 at a game, but 100,000 within walking distance watching it at home, or in bars. AFL always pulls 50,000+ crowds in every city. True?

It's actually 5 tackles, they have to kick on the 5th tackle,if they don't kick on the 5th tackle,the opposing team then gets the ball and play from where they tackled them,the only time when there is a 6 tackle in the game is when the opposition catches the ball behind the tryline and get to do a 20metre quick Tap,but you're right in what you're saying,it's good to see that you're learning the rules of our game.Coming from an Aussie EELS SUPPORTER.
