It doesn't hurt as much as when Del 'threw that fifteen grand out the window' in To Hull & Back. 🤣

You did the right thing reacting to the 3 remaining Only Fools And Horses Christmas ⛄ specials from the 00s. Just make sure that they are in this order: 2001 = If They Could See Us Now 2002 = Strangers On These Shores 2003 = Sleepless In Peckham You did the wrong thing 😒assuming that Americans invented the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire when the whole world knows us Brits did 🙄

Who wants to be a millionaire is a British made show. The rest of the world copied it and you can see why. Was a good show with lots of easy money to be won. Jonathan Ross is a real tv personality and has many shows and appeared on many shows so it was cool to see him appear in this. He still looks exactly the same today

You do realise "Who wants to be a millionaire, is a British game show that America copied?

Initially, Goldrush was suppose to be *Who want to be a millionaire* but due to copyright issue, we got Goldrush.

You should definitely check out David Jason (Del Boy) in Open All Hours with another legend Ronnie Barker. Great series. Enjoy

PS: Reliant Robin is the same three-wheel van that Del drives, hence why Del look very pleased at the question being asked.

No it wasn't. Del 's van is a Reliant Regal Supervan III.

IF you warch the DOCTOR WHO episode A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the DOCTOR'S friends AMY Nd RORY are on Honeymoon dressed up like CASSANDRA and RODNEY. It's a nod to this story

Easily the weakest of the final 3. You'll love the next 2. Especially the finale.

Agreed. Hated the whole 'Goldrush' crap and find it a very weak, almost formulaic plot device to fall back on. Biggest laugh I got from this episode back when I first saw it (aside from Triggers karaoke Mozart quip), was Damien and his: "You cyant do simple ting..." in that high-pitched, faux Jamaican accent 😂😂😂🎉

Nice. As I see it these three are a kind of trilogy. This episode does a lot of scene setting. It marks the loss of Uncle Albert and Mike, tells the story of how they lost all their wealth and their curent quandary and the state of their relationships. It has quite a lot of funny lines and is a good bridge to the next two episodes. So this episode is essential. Most people like episode 2 but it is the one that I like the least though it too has funny lines and continues the story telling arc in interesting ways. Finally the programme Goldrush is loosely based on the format of Who wants to be a Millionaire. There is a faint echo of something that had happened in the UK where a competitor cheated by reading out all of the answers and hesitating between them and an accomplice in the audience coughed at the right point. The contestant later was prosecuted for fraud. This occured a few months before this episode went out so it's difficult to know for sure if it was a knowing reference or a coincidence (art imitating life or vice versa).
