Reindeer hairs are hollow, so they insulate like crazy. That's why reindeer skins are incredibly warm. Back in the day, people made suits of double-sided reindeer skin in which they could sleep outdoors in the snow. My reindeer boots are also warm, even though they are just single-sided except for the insole.

I'm a Finn and I have very good relationship with seven elves. Santa has ninja elves to protect him, even though he doesn't need them, because who would do anything bad to Santa Claus? Santa Claus has magic powers, so don't try to harm him. If you do that, all of us Finns and 110.00 elves + some killer reindeers (on drugs) will be after you. Thank you for a great reaction, sis

Since the actual north pole is o er water, Santa has his compound on land in Finland, within the Arctic Circle, so Lappland is a good choice, especially since Reindeer come from there.

Yep, covered by an ice sheet which moves around. Would be exhausting to move your house every few months back to the North Pole.

We have elves/gnomes everywhere in Finland. One of them lives in my sauna, he says he'll guarantee a good "löyly" as long as I respect the traditions. If I or someone else disrespects the sauna elf, he'll curse me with disease or I'll suffer a very unfortunate accident like falling on the stove and getting burned. 😂🇫🇮

Here in Finland that doesn't save us from getting burned by the stove of course, because we are so drunk so often, that no elf can save us, no matter what it does. 😋

You aren't getting any presents by bad-mouthing Santa and calling his elves too tall. Those reindeer furs in the sleighs are from the reindeer, who died from natural causes. Towing them around is for the reindeer almost like they still have their love ones with them. Unfortunately the US postal service sends your letters to the North Pole where the wind first blows them all around and then the snow covers them unread. There's no one there to receive them. Those people at the Santa's post office were sending Christmas greetings to their friends and relatives. Some even send greetings to themselves and then receive them on Christmas as a lovely memory of meeting Santa. It was also postcards from Finland, which got Conan to visit Finland. His Finland episode was so well received that he traveled to other countries too. Video: "Conan O'brien Hates My Homeland". Santa's secret lair is somewhere on Korvatunturi fell ("Ear Fell"). That's why he has a village and a post office. It's not like you can have an address to your secret lair and invite people over there to meet you! You gotta stop running around outside during winter freezing your wet haired head. It's of course up to you, which Santa you choose to believe in. As a kid, I used to hunt for elves in the dark with a flashlight, but I never got one. However, my brother saw an elf sitting on a stump and laughing at him after he had stayed awake for two nights straight in the army forest camp. So elves exist at least in Finland.

Santa needs the gift shop to fund his bomb shelter.😂 Seriously he has a bomb shelter under that whole thing. It's zuppose to withstand nuclear weapon strike. And house everyone visiting his village.

Fun fact: Santa Claus can't be trademarked, so anything wearing that name is for free for business. So in my city at the Arctic Circle we have Santa's almost anything from Santa's Hotels to Santa's Döner (with reindeer meat as an option). If I get the starting funds, I'll get a "Santa's Big Sausage" -stand up and running in no time... Reindeer meat is actually super ethical, since reindeer can't be domesticated, and get to spend their lives roaming in the wild, and the reindeer population has to be kept at a constant level, or else they'd run out of food. I had an otherwise vegetarian GF who'd eat no other meat than reindeer, because she couldn't come up with anything unethical about eating it. So maybe Santa's Big Sausage will have "reindeer meet and eat" for premium customers.

Traditionally the victor in the Finnish resort wins a reindeer presented to her by Santa Claus because Levi is close to the Arctic Circle and the Santa Claus village of Rovaniemi." That's the one way to get your own reindeer. There are lots of reindeers in Lapland because reindeer herding has been an important traditional livelihood there.

@@marierimaereacts When there's no chimney - and occasionally even if there is one - Santa gets in by using "Christmas Spirit". It can't really be fully explained in any scientific manner. It's more like facial recognition for cell-phones, but for vibes and in reverse - as if the phone would check your face to access *you.* As far as I can tell, Santa doesn't visit houses with zero Christmas Spirit in them, like houses that have been left abandoned, for example.

Did you knew at male reindeers drop their horns Falls and Female in spring? So those reindeers with horns is females. (Btw, I live about 6-7 Miles south that Santa's villlage 😜🤫)

Santa Claus in his red and white suit is probably the most successful ad campaign in history in fact Santa in his red and white suit was originally started by The Coca-Cola Company in 1931. Santas suit represents the label of Coke. And Santa Claus as you know him is actually a registered trademark of Coca-Cola. Who Knew.
